  1. how bout this, Leavitt requires LONG LONG hours, it could have taken away from their time with their family. I know Rod has a young child, maybe he wants to spend more time with his child and wife. It is not easy working for Leavitt due to the hours.
  2. please for the love of G-d change the title of this thread, i saw it and almost had a heart attack
  3. BullDoug, Rod Smith did not play for WVU, he played for Glenville State or something like that as a QB under Rich Rod, but he did not play for WVU.
  4. CJL knows what he is doing. You also think CRM is a good coach and that Capko looked good. So your sports iq isint high enough to question moves that CJL have made. my sports iq is actually very good, i know quite a lot about sports, especially football, i never said i didn't like the move, just that i thought it would be nice to get some new blood into the program. nothing wrong with what i said. i'm not alone in my support of Mac on here, and Capko has made improvements from last year and if you haven't watched him shoot around with Curry when he was injured at home, making a majority of his 3-pointers, than you could see he just needs some confidence in his shot during the game to be a good player, he has limited his turnovers and helps the team, but this isn't about CRM or Capko. but like i said, ask anybody who talks to me about football especially college football, and you will see that my iq in this department is very good. and not once did i mention i didn't like the move, just wished we had hired some new blood to change the offense up a little, but i do like the move of promoting the coaches, it shows a sense of family in that Leavitt is willing to promote from within instead of going outside the program.
  5. i would have like us to hire somebody from the outside to bring in some fresh blood with some new insight or something
  6. now i really hate WVU, **** them, thats not a nice thing to do to a conference mate.
  7. a great time to distribute the towels would be on wednesday, have them at the gates when people walk in to the building.
  8. and race matters because there has not been a black coach that has won the Super Bowl yet, so its a big deal
  9. just goes to show you that Tony could have taken the Bucs to the Super Bowl, but that Tampa fans got to restless to wait
  10. i have a football honoring this years bowl game that i got for free, its really cool looking. it has the PapaJohns.com Bowl logo, with the date and place of bowl game and the iconic U on it as well.
  11. all the ticket stubs i hav saved since becoming a student here in 2001, seeing Andre Hall pound his chest towards the USF fans after the bowl game last year, thats all i can think of right now.
  12. the Big East has 2 teams in the top 5, 3 teams in the top 15, and 4 teams in the top 25, gotta love the Big East respect
  13. nope, just lost to florida state, they will fall from the top 25
  14. i'm usually the first student at the gates and in the stadium, i usually get there an hour before the gates open. but for big games i get there earlier than that.
  15. i was thinking the same thing, figured sbc could put it on for all the students, staff and coaches to attend.
  16. way to rip on a USF coach pot calling the kettle black? you rip on a usf coach all the time, you have no right to call out another poster for doing the same thing you do day in and day out.
  17. i think we played pretty well, and stayed in there with a team that is currently undefeated at home, so to go in there and compete like we did was really good. we had a bad start to the game, but than caught a rythmn and was able to play good ball, we need to stop turning the ball over and need to hit our free throws, and this is three games for Howard in a week, and he hasn't played a game in 2 years, not 3.
  18. Ari, Jose isn't going anywhere next year, its not about money at all, he loves coaching here, he just wants more support for his team, that is it, nothing else to it.
  19. i've been to almost every womens basketball game this season, i came to last nights game during halftime after getting out of class, but i do have to agree with Jose. walking around campus, the signs that show the times of the basketball games were not updated with the time for last nights womens basketball game, it still showed the times for this weekends games. as "the diehards" we need to step it up and support this team, how many people on here that live within 30 minutes were posting updates during the game? show up and support this team, who cares if its womens basketball or not, these ladies put there heart and soul into every game they play, they win games, and are on pace to go to a second straight NCAA tourny, and possibly being ranked in the top 25 after last nights victory. you all sit here and complain about the mens team, yet you all show up to watch them, well the women deserve it as well. flsportsfan83 ones said that womens basketball was the only team worth supporting, yet he refuses to go to a game, he'd rather attend mens games where he blasts the coach. get up off your lazy butts and get to the game, you will not be dissappointed.
  20. don't expect Butch to turn their program into a national contender or a team we shouldn't take lightly any time soon. hes got a long way to go.
  21. they are the first school to hold the national title in both football and basketball while one sport is currently going on, a.k.a. they won basketball, than football all while basketball was going on. i hope that helps a little.
