  1. Whoa, superfan. Why weren't you there? i was reading/hearing the reading of the Megillah, its what we Jews read for Purim, and i was not feeling well after it.
  2. i drove past the stadium and saw that score and thought to myself, it can't possibly be true.
  3. until you know how they got the money for the uniforms, please refrain from comments like this one, and mazel tov on the new unis.
  4. while the rest of the big east was young, so were we. we were only two of our players who really played this season, saw significant time last season, everybody else saw little to no minutes last season, and we were playing and starting freshman and redshirt freshman, also people who haven't played a real game in two years. so while one can make the argument that the big east was young this year, so we should have made the tourny easily, one could also make the argument that we were also very young and due to that we shouldn't have made the tourny easily. you seem to forget flsportsfan, how young we actually were this year, and how much of that youth comes back next season.
  5. it was my first ever arena football game, the predators def. had more fans there, the Storm has to get more fans out there as it is an exciting game to watch. DeAndrew Rubin, scored the first two touchdowns for the Predators and i believe had one more on the night as well. Grammatica missed like 4 extra points, and made a field goal, i think once he gets used to the different styles of goal posts he'll be better. after the game i got both DeAndrew Rubin and John Miller both former Bulls to give me the Bulls sign and got a pic of John Miller doing it. saw the game for free and sat 4 rows up from the field endzone seats, right next to the Predators entrance, couldn't of asked for a better night, except for a Storm win.
  6. i have a friend who works for the storm, he told me last night that Huey is on the practice squad this season
  7. should be a fun time, hopefully we can beat seton hall again, and with the worry about breaking the record over, i expect jessica dickson to be back to her old self again. i'll be there
  8. Not that I disagree, but where is the evidence of that? I think you would be surprised if you compared Huggy's graduation rate to CRM's. Show me a person that cares about Grothe's grades (immediate family excluded) and I'll show you a liar. Rueb please tell me your joking??? huggy had the worst graduation rate while at cincy. just about all of crm's players have graduated, he makes them to go class, otherwise they won't play. and Leavitt cares about grades as well, hence why we have had players not play due to grades, there was one big one this off-season with Leavitt a senior who was in risk of being given a redshirt year due to grades. so usf does care about the grades of its athletes, huggins does not.
  9. collin, a bunch of us "die-hard" fans should be heading over to the clubhouse as well
  10. lets see, i work at the bookstore, go to school full-time, am part of two organizations that i am really active in, am volunteering with the tampa jcc, and yet still have time to go to the games.
  11. no, it is oy vey, hence the saying oy is yo backwards
  12. maybe because he is a senior, and even though he was having an off night, he is still a good shooter, and was due for a shot, you always go to your senior, especially on senior night.
  13. yeah, taking us to the semifinals of the C-USA tourny is doing nothing, beating 4 ranked schools is doing nothing. yeah, sending a kid to the NBA as the 3rd pick in the 2nd round of the draft, yeah, he hasn't recruited. : give the guy a break guys, he has done something while being here, you might not want to admit it, because it would make you change your opinion of him, and you'd have to admit your wrong, which we all have a problem to do (right wildrover).
  14. i have a job as well, i just make sure not to work when we have games
  15. better yet, we all know he is a student here, he could have been at the game
  16. they women are playing their first round game of the Big East tourny on saturday
  17. before you call me stupid, at least know why i have been here 6 years not 7.  by no means am i stupid, i did not know what i wanted to do, and ended up changing majors a few times till i found something i liked and was good at.  and if your going to make fun of my last name, at least spell it right. and notice in my original post, i made no reference to your weight, no need to make fun of my stutter.
  18. Andy there is no need to say that.  Are you trying to start something?  Plus Randy is a hell of a lot smarter than that guy...he wasn't wearing UF crap. It is one game tho...our freshman pitched well and I can understand Lelo wanting to get the win bad for all the fans but sometimes you just have to stick with your normal guys who have been winning all year. That being said I think we have a great year and guys remember we are still 9-2 as long as he continues to bring up coach mac in threads that don't have anything to do with basketball, i will say something to him/about him.
  19. hey ctbrown, good to meet you as well. the pitching was down right horrible in the top of the 9th, we just couldn't get a stop. and i almost fought some uf dad, his kid kept talking ****, so instead of talking **** to the kid i went to the dad, he looked like an overaged flsportsfan, just as dumb with nothing to say.
  20. any chance sbc can put something together to get the diehards out there???
  21. not till i get out of my class, my teacher is a baseball fan, so hopefully he will let us out early, considering we are handing in the proposals for our final papers.
  22. heres a link to the pic of Jessica's foul shot that broke the record, its of her about to release the shot. http://usf.facebook.com/photo.php?pid=32892643&id=5000833
