It's an error because covers via USA today has the same line and they are the 3.5 point dogs. USA today is linking to live aggregate data, not sure what yahoo links to? That wll move when people start betting on it. They are good, but I'm not yet convinced they will score many on our D. Statistically we are even, but I think we played better competition.

I think most would rather play you guys.  I know I would. (honest question, no smack intended)  Why, when so many have said that we suck in one way or another? Mostly smack in response to some of the ECU disrespect being spouted here.  I think most believe USF is a better team than Cincy, and you guys grabbed some attention with the WVU win.  We'd rather play the opponent with the highest profile, which right now seems to be you guys.  Everybody says everybody sucks at one time or another.  Don't take it personally.  Come to our board and post resonably, and you'll be politely received.  I try to do the same when I'm visiting, but when you run into rude jerks, sometimes the temptation to respond in kind is too great.  FTR, you guys had a great win Saturday.  (Don't tell anyone I said so  ) Ok. Unless Rutgers beats WV and the BCS takes Louisville also, I do not see USF in any other bowl. ND would also have to go to the BCS and not Gator bowl.

To be fair, Romano is a columnist like Fennelly or Johnston and opinion is a big part of his writing. Brett is a reporter who is supposed to just report news .... I think the reporters role is to tell the story, not just report it.

UCF had our game circled, they came to play that day. We still dominated them up and down the field without 3 or 4 starters and a punter that handed them a touchdown. In fact, if the punter did not hand them that TD, we probably would have beaten them by 2 or 3 scores as we let them get back in emotionally with that play. Prior to that, UCF fans already were heading home. They were already dejected by the time you played them. Apple and oranges. They suck, so do you. You won't be able to hold the field with our recievers.  Taurus Johnson is going to own you.  Your only hope is to fluster the QB, but guess what?  ...he faces more intimidating linebackers each day in practice.  We've also played much better defensive teams than you.  Rutgers and Cinci were the real deal this year.  I'm telling you our receivers are going to look professional and that is actually going to open things up from growth-ee or Ponton to run.

We've seen better d's than your's against the run.  We don't rely on it.  Our quarterback gets more yards than our running backs.  We also distribute the ball to about 10 recievers.  Good luck covering everyone.  We are more like an improved version of the 2001-2003 teams than any you have seen. We've been recruiting like a mother since we last played.  You probably won't score on our D.

He has issues with facts.  But so do you!  There is little evidence to indicate we wouldn't whip you yet again.  The last time we played, you were not ever in the game.  We were in one of our unending rebuilding years.  The first time was a slaughter in front of your homecoming court.  The other time, was just luck that we let you back in the game.  We went very conservative after scoring three quick times.  You have not gone out and recruited better athletes so I don't understand your logic about how fast your team is.  Florida speed is something you have not seen all year.  UCF is weak and incredibly slow. UCF's AD says the same garbage. Try listenting to the heads of the BE who say there will be no expansion any time soon. Face the facts, the purple pirates will be in the CUSA for a long time. And o'leary tells recruits that the SEC is holding a spot for them too.

Tampabay 3- 4million people. I think your inability to comparatively rationalize metro areas is in sync with your inablilty to recognize that we own you in football. BTW that UCF game was close, but not as close as it looks. We gave it to them, they couldn't move against our d, until the last possession and we saw how that ended. We gave them points.

The Sheraton dt is pretty nice, but as noted, try to stay near 5 points. That's the nightlife. The stadium is in a depressed part if town. Think Citrus Bowl or worse part of town.

Not very classy of you the day after a huge win - months after PJ had been replaced by MG - to make such an incorrect and inconsequential comment.  PJ is a part of this team and did what he could for this team for four years.  To attempt to slight him and others is lacking of any class. Did you have the couch burning smiley specially made?

I have respect for you guys. It's just smack on a message board. I would really hate to play rice. I think we just want a little more than something from the past after knocking off WVA. How would you feel in our situation? I think most of us that have been around a while, the only rematch we want with CUSA is S miss and then DI-AA Hofstra ...maybe Georgia Southern. The bowl in houston would be a great opportunity and something new.
