If I’m Timmy, I’m looking elsewhere. He is good enough to be a starter. Look at a Sun Belt team that needs a QB like McCloud did.

I can see both sides
Side 1: No you don’t take him back, it sends signal to rest of players, you can look elsewhere and we will take you back if it doesn’t work out.
Side2: It’s a whole new world, players are free agents every year, would you not take back a player that would make you better? Doesn’t it shows the team that the grass isn’t greener elsewhere?

They have proven to be not competitive with the SEC unlike USF did against UF and BAMA. And I don't know if the SEC good ol boys will appreciate that they will compromise themselves with some dirty investor money to escape.
It really has more to do with the SEC really not needing another team in this state. In fact adding FSU would not be supported by Florida,Georgia,Auburn and Alabama because adding FSU will just be directly hurting those schools. Clemson has the same issue. This is why UNC @nd UVA are more attractive for SEC $$$$$. They don’t really need more competitive teams, they need markets.

Did FSU just hurt their chances to get into the SEC since they disgraced the sport?
Doubt they get into SEC. Is BigTen or bust for them

So again the b12 is getting no one good. This guy is just throwing poop on the wall hoping it sticks or smells and the b12 benefits by the crap he spreads. Even if they merged the SEC and new b1g are superior. Clemson and FSU are the only big values left in the power players from both conferences.
These B12 homers are the worst. They want so hard to believe that eliminating the ACC brings them closer to the P2.

Saw this on another board and it is old (from 2022) but the B1G commish at that time told Brett about six schools that we're being considered aside from ND. Today, two are already in the BIG, and the other four are in the ACC or moving to the ACC. FSU is one that the B1G thought would add value.
I think for the BigTen there are really 4 schools that they are attracted to from ACC
FSU,Miami, UNC and Virginia
For the SEC: UNC and Virginia are main two
In both cases they add schools in new territory. For SEC two new states and the flagships of each state. For BigTen 4 schools in new territory with the academics
Big notice that Clemson doesn’t really look like a target for either. At the end I think we see SEC and BigTen each take two. More likely FSU/ Miami to BigT3n and UNC/ UVA to SEC
For the ACC the big part will be forcing those four on big enough exit fees and keeping ESPN contract intact. If they achieve those two, then it makes it unprofitable for the rest to go look at Big12.
The Big12 with their GOR and teams not attractive to SEC or BigTen will stay as is.

Any explanation on Pryor’s absence. The team does seem to play better with him at center.

Why wouldn't the ACC raid the Big 12?
I read that the Big12 schools signed a GOR so once again the money difference between the ACC and Big12 isn’t enough for schools from either side to pay to move.

Just my 2¢ opinion, but nothing is going to happen until the FSU suit is settled.
Absolutely and all of this is NOT about FSU. The ACC knows full well that FSU is gone sooner or later. The big outcome of these lawsuits is for the ACC and FSU to agree on a payout that will allow FSU and others to pay and head for SEC/ BigTen but with a high enough payout that would make it unprofitable for any school to bail to Big12

Any smart schools from MWC that can be pulled in?
I would say maybe Colorado State and San Diego State if they wanted another Cali school for a Western division

You are probably right, I don’t know how they are really. Honestly though, if they want football and are unable to lower their standards then either independent or .
More likely they would be happy with an ACC that looks somewhat like this.
Boston College, Syracuse, Pitt, Wake Forest,Duke, Georgia Tech, SMU, Cal, Stanford with additions of USF, Tulane, Oregon St,Washington St maybe UConn and ND for non football.

Like a USF?
I’m not going to say USF is academically were they are, but they are more likely to accept being in a conference with USF as an AAU institution than with Boise or Fresno.
If you have seen their history, you would easily see academics matter where they go and why they went to ACC and not Big12 and certainly B12 has better academically ranked schools than Fresno and Boise.

Are you implying they are stuck up?
I am saying that it is important to them to associate with schools closer to their academics.

New look mountain west conference?
with the addition of pac 2 plus cal/stanford MWC might be considered the best G5.
I think a lot of conferences are saturated with east coast teams (B1G and B12 aside) B1G needs a Florida school, and B12 needs a travel partner for UCF and WVU.
I think the p-conferences try to tear each other apart first, then if all else fails they turn to G5 which has the AAC and MWC as the top two targets. No one should touch CUSA (I don’t know why they exist). Sun Belt and MAC seem safe as well.
If you think Cal and Stanford will join a conference with Boise and Fresno, well then you really need to look closer at what Stanford and Cal are really like

Another one of the so called Twitter experts that throws out all kind of BS scenarios so if we hits one he can claim he said it first. Another reason I hate Twitter, all these people trying to get followers and likes by posting BS.

Exactly! He has been pro USF for the most part so I’m not surprised USF is on his list of ACC teams
Let’s face it if FSU leaves ACC, USF is almost a slam dunk to be added. There Rea T any other options for them, that offer what we have.

Im going to say that in PreSeason predictions we will be picked in top 3 of AAC, with Memphis and Tulane. Bama and Miami will be tough out of conference. So I would say 8-4 would be lowest prediction.

USF recent AAU,OCS, bowl game and recruiting prowess this year and setting the Bulls to be a very attractive add if FSU finds a way to buy itself out of ACC and an invite from SEC/BigTen

It was funny seeing Marching bands streaming past Max's grille where there are Ferraris waiting for valet and diners eating $100 steaks a couple feet from a tuba player going by...quite a scene. Have great video of it all but sizes are too big to add.
Yeah the look from the restaurant patrons was interesting to watch. For the most part they were intrigued by the bands marching by.

That would be amazing if that happens when we can't get much more than that into the stadium for regular season games here in Tampa. Let's hope we show out for this.
Remember stadium capacity is a bit more than 30k.

I’m glad they got plastered. Their schedule should had kept them out. But now it sets a presedent for next year their out of conference once again is horrible.
