    Actually his name is Shane Montgomery and he is BOTH the OC and QB coach at Miami Ohio.

    Well the fact is that many 6-5 and even 6-6 teams make bowls every year and they are NOT worthy of it BUT theyll never turn them down and give a 10-2 Northern Illinois or 9-2 USF their slot. So IF we go 6-5 and get the invite i wont feel to bad because ill feel is a make up for when we went 9-2 and SHOULD have gotten the invite. With that said lets go one at a time lets beat ECU and coninue improvement is what i like to see. Here are some interesting numbers in offense: First 3 games vs SC,TCU and USM 102 rushes 218 yds, 102 passes 585 yds Last 3 games vs Army,UL and UAB 137 rushes821 yds, 59 passes 362 yds.

    At 822 yds he has already the second most rushing yds in a season in USF history and is only 195 short of tying McMillan's record.

    I watched the game and thought the same thing, the refs had just called him for a 15 yarder and right after that called the interference that cost us the int. I thought Royal was still mouthing off to the refs and JL was screaming at him to shut up.

    Michigan WILL NOT sign any contract that requires them to come to Tampa, Their contracts with UM were for going up to Ann Arbor with no return. Yeah those teams listed need games but we are fooling ourselves if we think USF has enough draw to get any of them to Tampa. As for bands i remember Troy St bringing their band down n performing at half time

    Lets see how we play vs UAB. A win there keeps our hopes alive, a loss just about ends it. A blow out loss and is get ready for next year. I must say that i agree with Mike, IF we become bowl eligible and get invite to Hawaii not sure we would be a good rep in field and stands which could hurt our future image. But of course if we DID become bowl eligible it would mean that we went at worst 4-1 rest of the way which would have to mean that we RAISED our game. No matter what ill be there rooting the Bulls to win.

    FAU is NOT eligible for Bowls nor 1AA playoffs. Not enough 1A teams in their schedule for 1A and too many scholarships for 1AA

    I guess the Gator fans have forgotten all those years in the 70's and 80's when they were stuck in mediocrity.

    Denson was an excellent athlete and very good QB in HS, the problem was that he chose to go to wrong school. Auburn's depth chart in QB for this year is: Campbell STARTER senior 6'5 223 Cox back up 6'2 199 RFR # 9 pro style QB in 02 Booker 6'4 224 FR #28 pro style QB recruit 04 Goodwin 6'1 203 RFR Field 6'2 189 FR Hill 6'3 215 02 #28 pro style QB switched to H The fact is that they are LOADED with BIG kids with pro style QB skills, Denson is more of a dual threat QB doesnt fit their system. If he was eligible right now he would be our starter. By the way He DID not spend his whole college career as CB. He was redshirted and asked to switch to DB this year and thats when he transfered.

    the fact that Kraky couldnt beat out Julmiste or play at 1AA speaks volume. Do wish he would have stuck around im sure we would have seen what he could do on the field this year.

    No Leavitt stays, one bad year since he started this program is NOT reason for it. But i would like to see changes in OC, no way our calls are to the level needed to compete in 1A

    I say QB and new offensive coordinator. Our play calling was so predictible that it was sad and Julmiste i hate to say look as bad as a HS QB can look. Im telling you guys right now that Denson or Grothe will be our QB next year.

    From the article in the Miami Herald today it makes it sound that their OKSt series is a 2 for 1 same with the Mich St talk. Question is would we sign 2-1 with those teams?

    Why would they? Rutgers LOST to a 1AA team this year. We need to get over it,yes we got beat by a team we were heavily favored,IT HAPPENS, thats why they play the games. TCU LOST to NWST a 1AA team a few years back and still went to a bowl. I am not saying we are going to a bowl this year but some of you guys act like is the end of the world. UPSETS happen all the time, we didnt play well and we lost,lets move on.

    I believe that the state help pay for most of the cost at UCONN, that wont happen here.

    We sucked in the second half and Army won. Congratulations to them. For us yes it sucks and it hurts but thats part of playing sports. You get the highs when you overachieve and pull an upset and there is the extreme low when you underachieve and lose. The fact is that many of our fans have not felt many lows. UAB last year and Army this year stand out. The fact is that we ARE NOT a good team, and we have many inexperience guys making mistakes. Time to move on!!!!!!!

    LOL, ok. Maybe you guys will win CUSA next year. Here is a fact yes we lost to Army. Youve lost 10 in a row including games to Buffalo and Akron. We will see next year on the field who is further ahead. For now is ALL talk. Hopefully you guys will have broken that losing streak before meeting USF.

    I wouldnt say Pott would be a severe ass-whooping, they have been escaping with wins. I see that one as a close one.
