  1. Maybe if a frog had a glass ass it would bust when it hops. The kid is playing for his second ring so it seems to have worked out well for him. Maybe If he went to a better football school he would have been forced to sit the bench, not getting g enough experience and he would be sitting on his couch watching the game today. We can play the what if game all day.
  2. I guess we will agree to disagree on the size of the puzzle piece ( I am extremely biased so probably not a good frame of reference ). I never gave it much thought but you may be right on the correlation with FB and Academics.
  3. I can’t effectively argue any of this but that has never stopped me. Yes we are a University and academics is the most important, that is the intellectually lazy position like saying our society should help provide for those less fortunate, of course we should. Sports is something we can all get immediate gratification and brings people together by providing a sense of pride and tradition. A successful FB or MBB team would generate more interest in the school and would lead others to get more involved with their alma mater in a way that a research grant or an academic achievement can’t. Like you have stated, Athletics and Academics don’t have to be mutually exclusive so we need to do much better. You are very charitable and for that you should be commended, I hope we all open up our wallets once this ship gets turned around.
  4. Not ruling it out however he is too small and his exit was less than flattering so the chance of this happening are very slim IMO.
  5. Agreed and another positive is that I like saying Muma, we could chant it at games mooooooomaaaaa, kind of like the Puppa chant at a Bolts game back in the day when he was getting peppered. Puuuuupaaaaa.
  6. Many think the variance in salary by market is due to cost of living but many times it is more about the desirability of the market. Either way Florida has always as a whole paid low wages, housing isn’t that cheap anymore though, but I guess it is all relevant to our own perceptions.
  7. As a graduate of Muma they have come a long way, I got placed in a job making less than 20k and I was happy to get that offer. Next time we are getting smoked in football I am going to start the Muma chant, hopefully that will get the crowd jacked and spur a comeback.
  8. Very good point, I have a daughter interning in Dallas in accounting. Almost everyone she knows got an offer from all of the big 4 and her University makes up about 75% of the class at this firm. Dave G or you would know best but I can’t believe USF is near that level in accounting. i am not even sure they beat FSU, forget about UF altogether.
  9. I may have touched a nerve. As stated before, we are not really known for academics and are are a far cry from the elite, I simply feel we have a better chance of competing and becoming well known through a superior Athletic program, but Judy “clown face” Genshaft robbed us of that opportunity. I am currently paying tuition for a top notch University and see the opportunities it provides through the employers interest in the school, we aren’t even close to that level.
  10. Yes, many people that know nothing about academia feel we are superior because we have more federal or state grant dollars to piss away.
  11. Judy ****** us all but at least we have a handful of clowns that are proud of our certain academic stature, yippee nobody gives a flip.
  12. I know we had UCONN and that made it impossible, I want the nonessential teams to win too, we shall see.
  13. True but we have absolutely nothing else to opine on so we pass the time with whatever interests us, no matter how trivial
  14. The best players play, he must have been the best we had per two head coaches. He wasn’t any good but either was our D line or LB’s so the **** rolls downhill and he was at the bottom. Won’t miss him but unlike Corey won’t hate on him either.
  15. Brybull still giving up votes, he has got to be bouncing off the walls, CBG gets a pass due to Yetna injury last year and now covid this year. Probably a a swarm of locusts or a Nuclear attack saves him next year, dude is a cockroach, he ain’t going nowhere. Had to think for a moment on CJF, there are only 15 USF fans left and only 3 of them watch WBB, so nobody cares on that one way or another but he seems to be pretty successful I guess for a guy that has probably not won a conference championship either.
  16. They are rested and legs are fresh. I think we can stay within 30 points of them.
  17. I guess in the grand scheme of things I don’t care where they play. They could play in my backyard and I wouldn’t watch however I am not sure where Coco would poop.
  18. I accepted this fact long ago and would be thrilled with a conference championship. If it makes you feel better there are only a handful of schools that have a realistic shot of a National Championship, the rest are just trying to make a splash from time to time. Let’s get back to bowling again and I would be happy, lower your standards and you will be much happier.
  19. Appears that photo is actually of California and is all the people fleeing the state.
  20. What a D bag, however that would be hilarious. He is very similar to Alec Baldwin’s wife, he claims Hispanic heritage because his housekeeper was Mexican even though he is Irish.
  21. Nope appreciate the thought but it would end up instantly in the trash
  22. I really don’t go there much, it is no longer in my territory and I don’t care for it much. Too liberal, too weird, trying to be like San Francisco.
  23. If you are downtown than 6th street is still enjoyable, and your wife would enjoy it as well. Lot of restaurants, bars, music etc.. Austin is very liberal so that town may be locked down some however the rest of the state is as wide open as Florida.
  24. Enjoyed it but had enough Mexican food to last a life time. The Riverwalk is pretty cool, don’t forget the Alamo and nice canyons to explore, I like the Dallas area better though.
