    I am not sure everyone actually transferred out due to an alleged comment. DC and JB completed their 4 years and it was time to move on, Luke left a couple mos ago, was white and had no game. Williams and Akec were tweeners with no real position or the ability to create and may be searching for more playing time. Yetna was injury prone and may be heading back to France to play for money. Not sure with Castenada, maybe he is a devout catholic and wants to play for DePaul or Loyola while he studies to become a monk. Nobody really knows anything except these guys got cancelled quicker than Saved by the Bell ‘The College years’. Which I thought was pretty good. Spoken like a true liberal.

    Thanks, I knew I butchered the last name but too lazy to look it up, put a fork in him, the dude is done, the court of public opinion has already rendered a verdict, unfortunately that is the world we live in.

    The reports are it was not a racial slur but a racial comment of some sort by The asst Tom Herien, no idea what it was, when it was and if it ever happened. The players jumped ship but have made no comment. There is an internal investigation but no comment by CBG or the asst. Doubt we will ever know the truth but both guys are pretty much cancelled anyways and we are speculating on our next coach. Make sense?

    Yes, he has a special talent and I have always felt he brings significant value and a unique perspective that elevates the level of most of our discussions.

    I think we are all over the board (literally and figuratively). I thought this team had a decent shot at making the tourney and instead they won 4 conf games and our best player barely made a case for starting on this crappy team (no idea the injury a year later would make him an ordinary player at best). The team is now a dumpster fire and needs to rebuild again, this story has gotten old. I say give the alum a chance, I honestly don’t even remember him but why not, my interest in this **** show is hanging by a thread anyways.

    I was being ironic and sensationalizing this entire thread, agree with you 100%. No need for the truth, he has already been cancelled and nothing to say except move on. Doubt we will ever know the truth nor does it matter anyways, guys reputation is ruined. We all wondered what would happen when the participation trophy recipients grew up, here is a glimpse.

    We both agree the jury is still out on him, we got a CO-OC that did not call plays, he needs to improve drastically over what he displayed last year.

    I like someone that has won at multiple places and therefore should be capable to replicate here. Who cares about Florida recruiting, get guys wherever they are that know how to put the ball in the basket. What is nice but makes the sport less appealing is you can overhaul a team in a week, everyone is eligible to transfer without penalty so this is the year to do it. (I believe this will become permanent in the future anyways).

    Why pay him, let the little bastard squirm. Not sure how you can constitute Scott as a good coach yet, but whatever. Doesn’t really matter if they are guilty are not now, the damage has been done, cancel these 2 guys and bring in a replacement to rebuild.

    I feel we may need to fire Kelly and the president as well, clean the entire house and not just a spring cleaning. This level of discrimination runs deep, if any of this alleged behavior happened under Judy’s watch than I want her questioned and held accountable as well. A civil suit may be next.

    Will they be able to get out of paying them a buyout if the allegations are true. And do we think charges will be filed? Should we consider the death penalty for the sport? What was allegedly said anyways?

    I have been out of town and did not read the thread and was not sure these allegations have been substantiated. If they are than good riddance and if they are not they probably need to go anyways because they will have trouble filling out a team. I am pretty much done either way with our MBB team, there is no reason to subject myself to this garbage, I have officially entered the portal as well.

    **** the high character coach, this team needs someone that knows how to win. I personally would take a chance and be bold than simply hire someone that checks the boxes to keep the pc police off your back. But we know this won’t happen so in the end who cares, a couple of coaches careers are ruined over some allegations that may or may not be true but that is the world we live in. Go Bulls!

    It was a half court heave, not really a shot. We really didn’t do anything different as mentioned earlier in the thread, DC driving and drawing a charge or driving uncontrolled and throwing up a wild contested brick as we pissed away every opportunity to win the game..,, and then go on to beat Cincy and then to play Houston and get drilled by 45 in the Championship game, we were denied the experience of playing for a chance to dance.
