BJM should be fired today...put Robert's on the bus with him and if Charlie can't fix the D ...he must go. Dylan Haynes got Charlie fired at Texas and Roberts will get him canned here.

This is a first class clown show. You kill any will to win by handcuffing the offense will McCloud. The line just stands around and the coaches allow it.

Yes he did, and CCS hasn't done that at all. Keep trying to deflect from his deficiencies though. If you're leaning on the portal it's because you can't get kids better once they're on campus so you hope you can get a cast off from a program that can. You have to take other program's throw aways because you can't develop the talent you've head on campus for years. We had less money and resources under the majority of CJL's tenure and regularly beat P5 teams because he could take a two star kid that was under the radar and develop them into quality players and did it consistently. CCS hasn't shown the ability to develop kids at USF and some kids have actually regressed the longer they've been in his program. The proof is in the doodoo flavored pudding.
You still can't let it sink in that the program had nothing on D. I'm speaking of actual talent. Very little on offense behind a few good players.
Charlie is messing the bed today on personnel. This bunch is lazy and undisciplined. Macon should never come off the field against an option team and Roberts should never be on the field.

Jordan McCloud isn't terrible, but how was Octavious Battle not better? We may need Jahquez Evans today.
Battle was better.

Bring in Evans and run the wildcat or something...just idiotic to keep running into the back of Cecil.

UCF didn’t lean on transfers and had no problem winning. Find a better method of deflection for CCS bad player development.
Well Frost actually recruited a lot of quality players. They also can afford to buy a mic for reporters during press conference.

Grier froze like a deer in headlights and Roberts goin' Roberts.
Roberts is the new Sawtelle

Taggart left Strong a team that went 11-2. It was Strong's responsibility to continue to recruit at a high level. He failed.
Taggart's first class was rated #1 in AAC after Holtz went 3-9
Strong's first class was rated #5 after Taggart went 11-2
We have had 2 of the 3 worst draft classes in our entire history under Strong.
He thought he would come in and coast to a new job so it looks like he put no effort into recruiting. either that or he was never really good at it and really needs Clint Hurtt.
You absolutely have no idea what reality is.

last I checked we were G5 with no money when Taggart was landing three straight #1 classes in the AAc. beating out many P5 programs for NFL talent.
you know what they say about excuses and losers.....
So recruiting classes win games? What is Strong's record against p5 teams here?

Other teams in the conference are getting plenty of talent and so were we under CWT. Either CCS can't eval effectively, his program has awful player development, he's hired bad recruiters, or all of the above. Hell, UCF has done just fine during their run for only recruiting at the G5 level. That dog doesn't hunt.
I hate to inform you, but you want to win right now!!! CWT had 2 good years and left. He left nothing behind Flowers at QB. Absolute garbage at that position. Do we need to talk about his defenses and talent on that side of the ball? He left at the right time. Just look what he is doing with elite talent.
-
Do you realize this is a G5 program with no money? You don't have the luxury of cherry picking top talent. I'll take all the kids that came in through the portal all over again. You use impact players at this level until your Boyles, Griers and Bellamy etc. Can develop.
I would like to see Burnett at safety to see if we can get better back there.
Sanders has value at KR. Roberts is still a liability. I hope he doesn't get exposed this week.

I really don’t believe he is good enough to play at any level after college. He needs to put that liberal arts degree from ASU to work and do whatever you do with a degree like that.
Well he won 7 games here. Better than Bk and CO.

An incredibly stupid observation, the team was loaded with 3 nfl lineman, Q, MVS, D’Ernest, Auggie, Nichols, McCants etc...the second year was thin however by now we should be seeing a better product. CWT inherited a dumpster fire and by this time in his 3rd year we were seeing improvements and promise. I am not sure why you are making excuses for CCS you must be related to him, he is an bumbling idiot.
Obviously you don't comprehend what you read. I said a the depth was thin.

Just like I said it all comes down to recruiting. Last 3 years ucf has recruited good QBs and explosive players. We obviously haven’t. Defensively we don’t look very fast or explosive for a Florida school. Offensively this staff hasn’t found a Qb since Q left and our best player that puts fear into defenses is suspended. That’s why CKB was brought here. I think he can recruit and understands talent in this state. At Valdosta state last year he had 3 seniors go to the NFL at a d2 school and one was drafted. We had I think 1 as a free agent. All the offensive players that are still starting there and making plays we’re sophomores and freshman last year. The are 6 and 0 and on a 21 game win streak since last year. I believe if he gets the time here, he’s going to have us a Good Qb and explosive skill players. He already brought Latrell Williams in who they say is the best receiver on the team. Look at all the speed and lineman in this offensive class. Also ckb has offered a couple juco skill players so obviously he thinks we need help now. Plus 2 Qb commits that talent wise probably shouldn’t be committed to the same school.
So Q leaves 2 years ago and the 2 bums behind him, who were recruited by the previous staff were beat out. The new staff brings in a serviceable qb and has McCloud and 2 incoming freshman. Just when I think people couldn't be any crazier!

Has anybody stopped to think that the roster was so bad upon arrival, that it would take a few seasons to get quality depth across the board?
Tag left a team of stick men that were the size of most Division 3 players. Sure there were a few bright spots, but overall the roster was garbage when he left.
Grier, Boyles, Mims and Bellamy are blossoming, but need a few more lbs that have some size to come in and a Macon type and some bigger HS kids would be fine.
We need players everywhere. I actually think the 2 new freshman qb's will push McCloud. I wish Battle could have stayed. He actually looked the best during the spring game. Evans may need to get some snaps back there.

I'd really like to be positive. Navy just beat a team that took SMU to overtime. It might be close in the first quarter. Navy is a lot better than BYU.
BYU beat Tennessee.

1. We don't press at the line and it gives the receivers a chance to get in their routes. Studstill is physical enough to come down and jam someone this week and take anything running outside.
2. The secondary plays too soft as though it's bend and not break attitude.
3. We need a thumper for a safety to get receiver to grow alligator arms.
4. Hampton is improving and Sails is decent.
5. I need the backers to thump an underneath route.
6. We just seem 1 or 2 steps out of position every pass.

It is..but we have improved enough to beat this team. Wiscy is much more talented.

1. If Blake plays in this game I will feel better about attacking their DBs.
2. many of their passes to WRs are wide open. If with only 2 going out the DBs are so focused on the run they forget. We must be focused at all times.
3. Although small, their D line has been dominant against bigger players (see Tulsa last week). I would hope we try to focus on the outside runs as opposed in their middle.
I am hoping Blake will be back also. We got away with one last week, but we can't have that same passing performance again.
-
.
Navy Weakness:
1. The secondary is slow, so we have to get players into space.
2. They have to max protect when they pass so they only have 2 receivers out on routes.
3. They are smallish on the DLine so if you run on them often they will wear down, the key is getting the receivers to block downfield and we should run sets with both Wilcox and Mathis in. One working as an H back to open holes and to get more creative with out line as far as pulling guards and trap blocking.
Navy Strengths.
1. They will play discipline football.
2. They block well and you have to get the runner before he gets to our second level.
3. The Qb gets rid of the ball quick so the safety will have to be disciplined and not get fooled on play action.

Make them one dimensional... if we can shut down the run, then we can force them to throw and I think our front seven can get to the qb quick.

Why kill your team with an injured qb. He is not that good healthy...plum awful hurt. Navy is bringing 9 to the box. THIRD AND 23 AND HE THROWS IT 2 YARDS.
