    It was his first game there. Sawtelle takes himself out of position a lot and does not have enough athleticism to recover. . Numerous times he gets sucked into the wrong gap.

    No worse than Sawtelle at times. Hence. I said wish he would have started out the season there. That is a position of concern.

    I think he would have an impact at backer. Good size, height and motor at a position of need.

    Ummm no. You guys over there and sometimes on here blame everything on the staff. Not saying they are perfect, but they can't go tackle for some players or get off blocks or block anybody for that matter. However, I notice that you couldn't refute anything that I laid out. I stand by my assessment of the program. It needs more talent in several positions. I know....when CWT was here we could have beaten Bama....

    If you call constant trashing that in turn became fruition then I was trashing. So refute the following of my trash talking: 1. BB will start from day 1. 2. The talent level is bright in spots but nowhere near the level as some fans proclaim. Hence, the defensive ranking in 2016. 3. Sterling Gilbert puts up yardage and points as an OC. Perfect? NO...but you can't deny the numbers. Besides Texas is playing most of his salary for two years. 4. Nicco Sawtelle can be a liability and a grad transfer or two could help the position and OL. 5. Bk and CO did not show anything in the spring game to inspire confidence in the thought they are capable of leading this team to a championship.

    Point well taken...but in any event, all the dumb threads that CCS is over his head or anything related is just dumb!!! I can't even say give him time to get his recruits in due to the fact he is 16-2 here. And to the point someone made that I have run off the other board is because that Dakota dude is a real idiot. He got mad because I said that CCS will bring in a QB transfer and bam! Blake Barnett. Then I also said that BK and CO were not going to start of BB.

    First of all, there is nowhere near the talent on this team people think. Yes there are some bright spots, but what's behind them? Our OL is shaky, safeties and middle LB are below average. The youth movement will pay dividends down the road. St. Felix has stop fighting for balls, McCants is solid and Soloman comes and goes...Ford and Cronkite have been dynamic...but it's hard running into a wall. We miss Horne and jet sweeps and somebody to get over top of the safeties. With all that said....depth is a big issue on an overall average talent team.

    Just two years ago this was one of the worst D's in college football. CCS still is plugging the dam. We are 6-0 so be it. I thought the receivers were a problem and are taking plays off. McCants is a player. Open field tackling was garbage and OL. Johnny Ford is doing work!!!!

    This team has lots of holes.... OL and DB's. Tonight the receivers were uninspired. The whole team was flat for 3 quarters. No QB can survive with this line. Gilbert is so predictable after a first down run. However, 6-0 is acceptable. The players must shoulder some of the blame.

    With our rich tradition of conference championships and superior talent. 15-2 should put him on the hot seat and we can pony up to rehire Tag.

    Maybe it was a little harsh... but I expect the Battle and the other two to eventually surpass them. In fact, I would not be surprised if both transferred.

    Actually, without BB we would be 1-3 at this point. The other two are division 3 talent level.

    Well on the bright side...CWT should have a QB shakeup. This thread is just that dumb.

    14-2 = incompetent? Meanwhile in Tallahassee, former coach barely beats fcs team with 4-5 star players. The fact is that most of you will never be satisfied with Strong or Gilbert. Just the nature of the beast... I'm pretty sure ECU was in the backfield before BB could handoff or get a pass off.

    14-2 with this play calling with a bad OL...don't forget all the costly penalties and turnovers...We also don't have depth on D so Strong had to protect the D...
