  1. Well go check out his players going to the pros in Louisville and get back to me.
  2. Lol....further proof that the inherited roster was not set up for the long haul. Starting to get some size at lb instead of a 200lbs outside lb.
  3. I made mention that we were not done in the portal. We got another Lb yesterday. Don't be surprised if we get a db or two before summer.
  4. Looks like the kid has some serious wheels...looks like an under the radar prospect due size. Could probably play day one in our secondary and kick return...lol
  5. It is depressing to see the lack of football news. Not really a big fan of chasing potential prospect or transfer news in a subsection. If you have anything related to football please post. It's ok to disagree with other posters, but your opinion is wanted on the state of the program and players.
  6. After watching the Spring Game, seeing immediate impact transfers, the Qb room, the talent of the recent young guys and recent recruits... I feel like this program has caught fire. I'm going to step out and say this... 11-2. Two losses will be a nail biter with one of the 3 p5 on the schedule and a bowl loss to a highly ranked p5 in the last 2 mins. I hope S. King is taking all the notes on Kerwin Bell...he will be here 1 year or 2 years tops. I think Bell is special and someone will pay him handsomely.
  7. You are special. The headline said Charlie was active in transfer portal. Not we we definitely get Taj Griffin.
  8. Don't be a lazy Debbie Downer...do your research. 247 broke the story and said we were hot in the mix for his services. Said he could thrive in new system as rb and slot.
  9. Jordan Smith out of Columbia commits. 3 STAR DUAL THREAT
  10. Taj Griffin ...Oregon Rb may be headed to Tampa. I think there are a few more that Strong is dancing with.
  11. I was so glad that CCS gave each qb an opportunity to play equal reps.
  12. Just curious if anyone saw the following players and if so, how did they do? Leacock Waller Kirby Vaughn William's Hobble
  13. It's day and night on the size. Battle is 224. I don't think we miss much Barnett gets hurt. I like our chances in a shootout.
  14. It will hard to beat us in a shoot out...with any of the three QBs.
  15. First Battle and McCloud looked better in their first viewing than BK and COever looked. To be honest there isn't much difference between the 3 QBs today, which is great. The LB room will be fine once Mason gets here. Much better than last year. Burnette will start as well as Studstill...I'm hoping for two late arrivals for the d after this semester. Was encouraged by Daquan Evans... he needs some weight.
  16. Considering Taggart left a handful of quality starters for Strong's first year and subsequent year was really low talent wise across the board.
  17. I would like to see how the following players will perform: S. Kirby T. LAINGE A.WILLIAMS J. STEVENS J. VAUGHN AND ALL LINE BACKERS.
  18. True, but if we can slow them down we have a chance in a shoot out. The middle has now become solid on paper. Sawtelle couldn't start anywhere but here. Sanders and Roberts may not still be ready.
  19. May be better to have someone like this at corner here. Dude is physical and could really tackle and disrupt a sweep or screen before it gets started. He will definitely give the secondary options to do more things.
  20. We were not very good at lb and most of the secondary. Actually anything will be better than most of what we had returning. At least we now look like a college team opposed to the undersized squad.
  21. The portal just made us a 10 win team. We had the worst secondary in the country last year. Now we will be good up the middle...We will have size and speed. Finally!!! It will be great for the younger players to compete with the transfers from elite programs. Barnett and Cronkite made the offense instantly better. Bk and Co were not very good.
  22. First, giving the reins to Kerwin Bell, with a few weapons to work with. I would personally like to see one or two more OL transfers to come in. The biggest upgrade was on D. Getting Mason, Studstill and Burnett was a couple. Lapointe and Hampton are good players. We were in real trouble if we had to depend on Sanders and Roberts. Mason gives you size in the middle and should beat out Sawtelle easily. Sawtelle can be a serviceable backup, but will cost you more than he would help as a every down player. Broyles will be good on the outside and the added weight will help stop the run. Vincent Davis will be first off the bench. He is a hitter!!!! Now with players coming in that have been in big time programs, we will finally be able to blitz with confidence on the back in. It will elevate the rest of the defense.
  23. I told you Strong was going to go get some players through the portal. He is not done yet. Look for at least two more players that can make an immediate impact. Safety was a major area of concern. I would like to see at least one more corner, lb and OL.
