  1. That is setting the bar as low as rewarding jeff scott with an extension for one fbs win in two years. If they accept tds then you should be a shoe in for tbp press pass. M* STYLE
  2. So would ok st, Kansas, Kansas St, tcu,Baylor, Iowa state, Utah, Az,AZ state, Houston, Colorado, and byu. One is better for championships and has survived for a lot longer. The b12 js the remaining teams from the swac falling apart and the best teams and only teams with real value got out of the b12 as soon as they could for the sec. If any conference of the two folds I think it would be the conference that has already folded once and is trying to rebrand the dying b12 post Texas, Am,Mizzou, and Oklahoma.
  3. I didn't watch was helping coach my nieces softball team since they need help with two of their coaches being out sick. I will watch the replay today. I saw we won, but that is to be expected against bcu. Hopefully we take the series against the awful Charlotte . They have the ugliest jerseys and logo in the conference. It is depressing to be in the same conference with them. Beat their ass.
  4. I hear he could get a deal on one of puff daddy's miami properties.
  5. Tampa cuban is better unless you go to El pub in Little Havanna for their take on the Tampa Cuban they called el club. They add some salami and cuban hot sauce basically spicy garlic sauce. The colada game in Miami is exponentially better. I wish tampa had more Colada stands and sold it at every corner like in Miami. LA Segunda(original only sadly) is one of the only few places that makes real Colada still. There are a few other players but nothing compares .
  6. I'd rather be tied to the sec than acc anyway . Either way the power conference won't go for regulation and regional alignment.
  7. The thing that matters most though is Colado one every corner or la-ventanita.
  8. They really just to need have 5 power regional conferences with regularation. The power confernces would take a g5 conference and swap out the best two lower conference teams with the top two g5 teams every season. SEC---> AAC ACC---> Sun Belt B1G---> MAC Pac12--->MWC B12-->CUSA
  9. Depends if you can afford to live in Coral Gables or some of the nicer areas of Miami it is nice which he would be able to easily afford .
  10. Don't forget he hired the infamous Kerwin Bell. Also Willy's system didn't work. The team was lost and he was forced to hire TJ Weist. It was TJ Weist who brought the GCO to make Willy look good. Willy's offense sucked before Weist at USF, it sucked at Oregon without Weist, it sucked at FSU without Weist, and it sucked at FAU without Weist. If you notice when Weist left USF he went to the Ravens and they developed a pretty good and consistent offense staring a mobile qb in Jackson.
  11. All I care about is USF winning and eventually get out of the AAC.
  12. He is one of if not the most successful coaches in USF history. If he gets an offer he can't refuse, I can't blame him for leaving. HE has been here a long time.
  13. In paper this is a deeper and more talented team. We will see how goes this year but optimism is high. Year one was teaching the kids to compete, never give up, learn to fight back when losing, and ending in an absolute ass whopping of a p5 acc program. This year should be about winning a conference championship and beating a blue blood p5 program during the season. Miami is definitely beatable and Bama is a huge unknown without Saban. I think we can beat Miami and Bama is unpredictable until we see how they look under the new coach. He got by with better players in the pac12 because there were really only two good teams Oregon and Washington. The sec west is a gauntlet and the sec top to bottom has more talent and better coaches. Bama could be business as usual or struggle to find their identity under the new coach .
  14. As with all g5 coaches they are here until the power5 contract offer they are waiting for comes calling. Caar is the only person that knows when that time is, the dollar value is, and what program is his dream job . It could be tomorrow, it could in the offseason, it could be a year or two away, or it could be never.
  15. If fsu and Clemson leave. The acc still have better teams than the b12 and more championship teams in the last 50 years. Also the acc would have roughly 720ish million dollars cash to invite other teams in they choose. I would think the best leftover b12/g5 teams would rather join a conference that pays more per year and has better football teams with more national championships in the last 50 years. Basketball really doesn't drive power TV Contracts, it is all football.
  16. HOPEFULLY @cc_pookah and Red to break down the spring game and have an entertaining postcast . @John LewisAre fans going to be allowed still?
  17. Just got home from hockey. Sad to see we lost, but we did improve a lot . So definitely a decent coach can easily win in the AAC. There is no excuse that we have losing coacing over time in any sports if the goal is to move up to a power conference.
  18. If he had his national championship wrestling belt on then he would have been immune to this power source.
  19. They sacrificed the leader with a vison in Leavitt so we could lose in the AAC.
  20. Do you have to drink the kool-aid before entering? ASking for friend of course.
  21. Going down to fcs would be a death sentence for this program. I wouldn't give a dollar to the university for fcs athletics. There is no reason we can't win in the Aac and beat middle tier p5 programs consistently. We just need a big football wins like the Leavitt days and hope that eventually any power conference gives usf the invite.
  22. Should be fine. Izzy Carter came back and we brougth in another TATE with recruiting. Hopefully we dont ever have to see the qb2 until a blowout this year in football.
