    Might be too classy. The Georgia Waffle House bowl seems like the type of game to be played at an old semi-rundown high school football stadium on the outskirts of town in a sort of dodgy area near a freeway. I don’t think VSU can provide that, but I don’t know anything about them

    Why would we want to compete in the only real playoff in college football? Don’t we like our position as a lackey that helps stabilize inevitable peepee system that screws over most schools, so the chosen few can monopolize resources?

    Aresco might be afraid of upsetting current members by adding too many competitive schools. He doesn’t seem like the strongest or best leader at times, but he finds a way to survive.

    I like Texas State? Or James Madison U? I want us to win our bowl game, but I don’t want to play some of these guys. No reward, all risk. Let’s hope we pull an ACC team or better. I don’t think we’ll get an SEC matchup, but I’d be fine with G Tech, BC or Syracuse.

    It would be interesting to see some players out there that barely know the playbook, haven’t received their admission papers, or taken a class playing for a new school. Instant portal. Next step is start making new coaches coach bowl games immediately after they sign on to a bowl eligible team.

    He would’ve been another good pick, but can he recruit Texas? I think having connections locally is very important to them. The competition for talent in Texas seems as fierce, if not more so than the battle for talent in Florida.

    For A&M Traylor looked like the “bigger and safer” pick, imo. At least he has won a couple conference championships. The carousel is moving so fast many coaches don’t have time to establish anything before they get booted or picked off. Sounds like A&M wanted to lockdown their guy before he became a hot commodity and someone else scooped him up. If he flops it will get ugly over there.

    True. I’m just hoping we can get the call up to the ACC soon. Still wondering about all that FSU and crew wanting out now smoke.
