    so the “tougher” teams they beat were: Purdue, Pitt, and Wake Forest. Not sure how good Western Michigan or Army are. Their gimme was Colgate. Looks like they got blown out in a couple games as well. I think this could be a fairly even match. We may even have a punchers chance.

    That loss to OK is a mulligan? Or what? FSU didn’t lose a game. The ACC only had 3 schools that were below .500. The Big 12 has UCF and 5 schools with below .500. Outside of that Bama win Texas beat basically nobody. Ok St is there other best win. FSU beat LSU and a ranked Louisville, plus most of their opponents were above .500. Texas being in over them doesn’t add up.

    The Big 12 seems to be worse than the ACC. The committee was just sucking up to Texas and the sec.

    Agreed. That post is asinine. No way those schools want to move down to the B12. They may have reached out to whoever is left in the B12 to see if they want to come over to the ACC though. The smart play for those schools is to collect the money from whoever leaves, then do whatever their hearts desire. If dissolution to create a new conference is what they want pop off sis.

    That should’ve been the deal. If Strong didn’t like it we should’ve let him walk. If a coach fails at a school like Texas it should be a red flag. He had near unlimited resources and was at the preeminent football school for the state and couldn’t get it done. His philosophy and how he handled the players seemed shortsighted. Had we just elevated Weist we would’ve been in a better position imo. We also probably would’ve side stepped the Scott error.

    it’s the extra ooc game for the SEC season. This schedule only reinforces the SEC is so great narrative. This is insular propaganda.

    Maybe FSU/Clemson can take that juju or stigma with them to the SEC when they change conferences? We all know this is mainly Clemson’s fault. Going 2-2 in the championship game is just not good enough to help your conference.

    Is the ACC stuck on the secret language in the contract? You know the guarantee of a conference spot if we win the game? I think if we lose we have to name the stadium Doak Campbell II for 20 years or change our colors to match Clemson, or something like something like that. Either way we have no option, but to win this game

    Is FSU playing their way out of the top 4 by not dominating Louisville? with the bulldogs losing will Ohio St., Texas, Bama, or Oregon be in? Could you imagine 2 PAC-12 teams and no SEC, or 2 Big 10 teams and no SEC. Would blow some minds. FSU, Michigan, Washington, and ????. Unless FSU poops the bed and opens the door for the sec.

    We need to start scheduling a couple more 4-10 ranked schools to ensure they’re well tested.

    If they get in over Oregon it will only be because of their quality win over USF. We could’ve played king maker this season.

    So this guy has actually coaching experience with real players, right? We will see some improvement at some point, right? I don’t think I’ve paid much attention to basketball since Antigua.

    That sounds like the right place to get supplies for a sophisticated affair like the Waffle House Bowl. Maybe they could co-sponsor the game?
