  1. No one said it was a done deal. The best chance at this team getting that yard is a run up the middle. It certainly is not Bohanon throwing the ball. That’s not a wild concept.
  2. You need a yard. 1. Uno. We watched Bohanon throw 4 yard passes into the feet of the WR or throw it completely behind a check down. The call should have been a run between the tackles whether it was with Bohanon keeping it and the RB leading the way or handing it off. There should not have even been a pass option. Like said above, if you go with Bohanon on a keeper and they stop it you tip your cap. Instead you over complicate it and give the opportunity for the nonsense to take place that did.
  3. Amazing isn’t it? Yes, I know it was an RPO, but the amount of times we run the ball up the middle every game and we don’t do it the time we should? The irony. These guys can’t help but shoot themselves in the foot over and over.
  4. Am I not allowed to mock his motto? You feel the need to go into the exact meaning of that phrase because of that comment? If this is Jeff Scott being the best he can be Michael Kelly should follow him out the door for sticking with him.
  5. Instead we should talk about progress and the moral victories like Jeff. This program deserves to be at the bottom of the barrel of college football with the “yes we are unhappy with the losing but let’s talk about the progress we saw” fans/administration/coaching. Best is the standard!
  6. What about all the non top 25 teams in the last 3 seasons?
  7. Only FBS team coming into the game this week without a passing TD on the season. Scott and this staff are an absolute disaster.
  8. I’m saying his worst case scenario is he is a backup at a competent program vs sitting as a backup at one of the worst programs in FBS football with a cast of clowns running this team. Is it not painfully obvious to you that this coaching staff is a joke?
  9. What if he was actually a good passing QB? We'll never know.
  10. 4 games in going with the "Naming him the starter was the right choice" is shaky at best given the results. At this point, McClain looks like the smart one to not let himself rot as a backup with such incompetence running things vs. worst case scenario being a backup at a school and program that is not incompetent.
  11. 4 games in: Gerry Bohanon 55-103, 569 yards, 0 TD 6 INTs. Bohanon and Scott are a match made in heaven.
  12. It's not painfully obvious to you that this staff is incompetent? Timmy might be one of the few sane ones at this point. Unless you're defending Jeff Scott LOL. As soon as we took Bohanon, everyone with half a brain understood he was not coming here to sit. Bohanon has 0 passing TDs through 3 games and led our offense to 0 points in the first half against a mediocre Louisville team in game 3. You're out of your mind if you don't believe he shoulders some blame for the struggles. We should definitely all rest easy knowing Bohanon has a wonderful GRIT score though. We shouldn't ever forget that.
  13. You defending Bohanon's play and acting as if McClain couldn't do what he's doing up to this point is comical.
  14. You're absolutely correct. Bohanon has had FIVE YEARS to develop as a college QB and is 23 years old. McClain as a true freshman did not show that he's a better passer than Bohanon. This does not mean that McClain isn't as good his second year than the absolute trash we're watching from Bohanon up to this point though. Also doesn't mean that McClain couldn't be much better than Bohanon going into his Junior year. Scott bet on Bohanon and it looks like an atrocious bet so far that might cost him his job.
  15. Isn't Scott a former WR and heavily invested in them? Makes sense.
  16. He also can't lead a WR. We have WRs doing full 360's to try to catch a 6 yard slant because the ball is thrown behind them. He has absolutely been failed here and there by WRs, but he's also failed massively himself.
  17. He was a true freshman on a terrible team with terrible coaching. We have no idea how good Timmy could have been taking steps forward each year. If Timmy wasn't good as a 18 or 19 year old true freshman, what the heck is a 5th year 23 year old Junior Bohanon?
  18. OR the staff botched the situation and it was painfully to obvious to McClain that the staff is incompetent. Can you imagine the things Scott told Timmy to get him to USF? Probably told him he's his guy and if he comes to USF he's going to play etc etc. I am not saying this has to be the case or if it is you have to stick by it, I want to win and if McClain isn't it, he isn't it. If he started McClain to start the season and McClain improved from last season as a true freshman and does pretty well we're likely in the same situation or a slightly better situation with both options, McClain and Bohanon as an option if things go south. If McClain struggles he was given his chance and we turn it over to Bohanon. If your agrument to that is well then you risk Bohanon transferring who cares. If Bohanon were to come in, be the backup and decide to transfer again that's likely a rough look on him. Got beat out at Baylor, transferred. Got beat out at USF, transferred. Who is going to be lining up for that guy at that point? Instead, We're stuck with a guy who cannot throw to save his life and our backup is a kid who enterred the portal last offseason who was a complete afterthought while Scott talked during the offseason how he feels we have 2 really good QB options (McClain & Bohanon) knowing Marsh isn't a legit option. With each passing week it appears to point to incompetent coaching than anything else.
  19. Yeah, he stinks. I said that being sarcastic because GRIT score is all people talked about pre season including our staff about Bohanon.
  20. OR he's in over his head and has no clue on any of it.
  21. But do you know what Bohanon's GRIT score is?
  22. Pretty sure anyone on our staff could have led us to a 41-3 blowout defeat today. Scott won't be fired before the season is over, but good grief the guy just seems to be so far in over his head.
  23. Of course foundations have to be set. The man will have made almost $6 million in the last 3 seasons from coaching USF. He is paid very well to figure out a way to win some football games which he's yet to do. Jesus Christ could be the coach of our USF Bulls and could be handing out bread/wine to the all before and after games, donates his entire salary to charity, treats the opponents as if they're royalty while healing all fans in the stands, but if he's not winning football games sorry bro, gotta go. Willie Taggart got NFL talent to USF. Should we go down the list? D'Ernest Johnson, Marlon Mack, Rodney Adams, Marques Valdez-Scantling, Mitch Wilcox, Deadrin Senat, Bruce Hector, and the best QB our program has seen in Quinton Flowers. On behalf of all Bulls fan, I am sorry you had to suffer through that era. If you're able to get happiness out of all things that are non wins when it comes to football god bless ya.
