For all of the accolades I heard about Peters (during his year sitting out) from the posters on this site, I expected another Buddy Hield LOL This guy was a major bust and now we have another open scholarship for next year. I can already hear the excuses next year on here about give Coach Antigua more time as they are short handed, blah blah blah. Coach Antigua sucks! Fire this clown already!!!

Correction, USF host Dartmouth this weekend! Softball plays East Carolina!

I noticed the USF Baseball team opens up our Conference Schedule against East Carolina this weekend. Looks like USF is playing a very young lineup from the talented recruiting class. Does anyone know what is up with Luke & Levi Borders? They have both missed several games. Are they injured? Did they leave the team? Go Bulls!

Triple B, you are super annoying. Everyone one is entitled to their opinion so STFU. I expected more improvement than this crap fest every game. Only you can see the crap USF is putting on the court and the poor job is Antigua is doing and see positives. Antigua is clearly over matched and doesnt have a clue. He can't even teach fundamentals, good defense and get the team to even play hard. Fire this idiot ASAP!

I surely expected much better than our WORST LOSS of the year, and not even competitive. I have seen nothing positive this year at all (except McMurray). This is just a total train wreck of Antigua's doing! What exactly does Rod Strickland add? I would expect he would help with perimeter defense, and lack of turnovers. Guess Not! Next year, I am sure I will hear the same excuses when either Baxter or Feliz doesn't get in with grades and Thorpe just plain sucks. There is a reason all of these players transfer in, they aren't that good! Peters sat out a full year and didn't make any difference when he was healthy. I expected much more of Peters from all the accolades I heard last year on this same message board. Santos probably is a head case or has bad grades, (or was just plain over rated as a recruit). He has missed several games on at least 2 separate occasions this year and contributed nothing. Antigua is just a disaster and can't coach at all! Look at the job Kingston did with our baseball team in just 1 year and he also recruited a super stellar class for this year. Unlike, Antigua, with his ineligible players (Da Silva) and injury prone recruits (Santos), lack of fundamentals and defense.. Fire Antigua already and get someone that can actually coach!

Other than recruiting McMurray, I am unable to think of any other positives that Antigua has accomplished in almost 2 years on the job. Face it, Antigua sucks and should be fired! What a train wreck!!!!!!!

I turn on USF Basketball game to check the score and see ANOTHER DISASTROUS effort, losing 64-30 to SMU. What are we now 5 - 19? Orlando Antigua is just so PATHETIC and should be fired ASAP. Don't give me the injury excuse (i.e. - 6 Scholarship guys). Maybe if this clown could actually recruit and not rely so much on transfers that have to sit out (Thorpe, Manderson) or Foreign players that are ineligible or have issues (Da Silva, Santos) maybe we could actually field a full team. We will see the same excuses next year and little to no improvement. Of the 5 scholarship players on the court, 3 will use up their eligibility and not even be here next year (Cousins, Nunez and Morillo). Bodway is simply a joke and has no business even practicing with us. I knew Orlando Antigua was the wrong selection and he has been even more of a disaster than I thought! Fire this jokester ASAP!!! Judy was real professional making the choking gesture describing Heath at a press conference 2 years ago (he was fired shortly after). In 2014, Telly Lockette recruited the Miami area and was responsible for bringing in Flowers, Nichols, etc. Dugans leaving also hurt. In my opinion, it is more so that our Assistant Coaches (except Woodie and Reaves) are not strong enough in recruiting.

Over the past few weeks, our Football recruiting has been disappointing to say the least. Following a winning season and Bowl game, I expected much more. The number of kids flipping to other schools is ridiculous. Hopefully, we can close on Dukes, Sails and maybe Weaver. We may finish strong but currently only have 14 commits (including Salomon, who may also flip). I think the main problem is our current Assistant Coaches (other than Woodie and possibly Reaves) are not good recruiters. In 2014, Telly Lockette was instrumental in recruiting Miami and in getting Flowers, Nichols, Johnson, etc. We recently lost Dugans, our other excellent recruiter, and shortly thereafter Williams flipped. On the current staff, I do not think Gilbertson, Pimpleton, and Hampton have done anything in recruiting. Hopefully, Weist and Jancek can help improve in this area. I do not think the main issue is kids flipping to P5 schools, it is more so that our current Assistant Coaches (except Woodie and Reaves) can't close the deal and sell the program! Dugans and Lockette had no problem doing this, why can't others? With the increase in the Assistant salary pool, I am hoping the recruiting picks up in future years! I don't want USF to keep relying on transfers from other programs who were unhappy in their situation. We need Assistant Coaches (in addition to Taggart) that can build relationships and sell the USF Program. Thoughts?

Good riddance! I guess Stover wants to go to IU and go 5 and 7 every year. We have enough O-Linemen in this class anyway.

TE Gabe Nabers flipped from USF to FSU. I guess this guy was a good prospect! Seems like quite a few of our recruits are waffling. Hope we can hold on to the others!

Well, with Chris Perry suspended for violating team rules (probably drugs), USF has 7 scholarship players. Why is USF Basketball unable to have a full compliment of 13 scholarship players? Don't give me the injury excuse!!! If Antigua could actually recruit some players that were eligible and not rely on transfers, maybe we would not be so short handed each year! Antigua needs to be fired ASAP. He is clearly in over his head and was a HORRIBLE hire by Harlan. USF will end up 3 and 29, worst record ever. Judy gave the choking motion 2 years ago describing Heath at a press conference (real professional). I wonder what she is doing regarding Antigua. Fire this clown Antigua ASAP.

For such a big recruiting weekend for USF, I am really surprised at the lack of news / updates so far. I am glad I don't pay for any of the pay sites as their coverage is truly lacking. I have only seen updates regarding the 2 commitments and also Craig Watts, Armunz Matthews. The coverage in previous years was much more thorough and better. I was excited to read some positive news, but the lack of coverage is disappointing to say the least.

Because you said Bodway was our 3rd best Guard like he actually is any good. He is averaging .3 pts with 1 assist in all of 38 minutes. He is terrible and has not business even being on the USF bench. Peters, who is hurt, is way over hyped, and not any good. We will not win 10 games this year. We are going to be 6-26 lol, worst USF season EVER.

Bodway has played 38 minutes in 7 games and is averaging 0.3 pts LOL He has no business playing for USF. You have lost all credibility LOL

FYI, I always supported Taggart and only said fire him after his high school offensive calls against Memphis in 2nd half, If you recall, USF turned it around after that so I am pretty sure Harlan or someone talked to Taggart also about the same thing! Taggart stopped being stubborn and opened the offense up. Antigua has been a train wreck from the start. I do not see any potential. What players (other than maybe McMurray) can you honestly say will be on our team when we actually win 10 games? I don't see any and they are mostly all Antigua recruits. Antigua ran off a slew of players that are actually having success at other colleges. How smart was that?? And yes, Bodway has no business seeing the court at USF> He is the 3rd best guard because Antigua is inept and in way over his head. Firing Heath was a huge mistake. I actually wanted Linc Darner, from Florida Southern, to be our Coach after Masiello failed the background check. Linc Darner had Florida Southern play an exciting style in leading them to the Division II Champions last season and is doing rather well at Green Bay now!

Yes, I very much know what I am talking about! Antigua sucks and was a poor hire!!! If we have talent and potential, then we would not be turning the ball over 20 plus times. We flat out suck. I heard so much about Peters and he was so over hyped it isn't even funny. Bodway is a walk on, so why is he even being mentioned. I honestly can't think of 1 positive that Antigua has going for him. My point exactly, George Jenkins, Morillo is Dominican (outside of US) and sucks! Recruit some good American players already. The women's team may have some foreign players, but Fernandez is excellent coach. Courtney Williams is awesome! We are 3-11 which is totally unacceptable. I remember Judy Genshaft being so unprofessional with the choke sign in a press conference before Heath was fired. Well, great hire Judy and Harlan! Antigua flat out sucks!!!!!!

FIRE ANTIGUA! He sucks and is over matched. Why is Rod Strickland even on his Coaching Staff? I figured he would add some sort of expertise, but our Guards suck. It is funny how for 2 years straight now I hear how great Antigua's next recruiting class will be but then 1 or 2 of the recruits can't get in to USF or just were just plain over hyped. I would also prefer to see more US recruits rather than guys from Puerto Rico (Morillo, etc.) that can't play at this level. Antigua was a horrible hire!!!!!!!!

For those that say Tom Allen is easily replaceable (i.e. - SMazza, etc.), that is probably the most ridiculous statement I have seen. Probably the same knuckleheads that want to keep Antigua employed. Tom Allen did a very good job this year in helping USF to our best season in years. It would not be easy to find a suitable replacement and not hurt the continuity of the staff and the success USF is building. WKU has a very good offense and there was a 1 month break between our last game. I don't put as much stock in a bowl game as I do the regular season. Anyway, here is hoping Tom Allen stays at USF! FIRE ANTIGUA!!!!!!!

Wow, with losses to bottom feeders Troy and NJIT, this has to be the worst start ever for a USF Basketball team. At least we beat Eckerd College in the Exhibition. I was not a fan of the Antigua hire from the beginning and this just proves my point. Terrible hire!!! I don't understand what Vega and everyone else here saw in this clown. 9 and 23 last year and will be even worse this year. Real bright running off Collins and a couple other players from last year! Now, we have no depth. For all the positive I heard about Peters, he is a MAJOR disappointment. For all the recruiting prowess I have heard of Antigua, he has what, one player this year that is actually playing (McMurray). Santos is hurt and Da Silva in Ineligible. In Basketball, a new coach should be able to turn it around quickly. This is beyond unacceptable and pathetic. Terrible hire by Harlan!

It is obvious that Wille Taggart needs to be fired ASAP. This offense is atrocious. This is the best that Taggart and Kinnan could come up with? Flowers totally sucks! I thought he was a 4 star recruit and leader. He has shown nothing as a QB and sucks! Our offense is so boring and PATHETIC, worse than watching a high school game. FIRE TAGGART.

Allen sucks just as bad. How did this Defense give up 35 points to Maryland?? No pass rush at all, highly recruited DB's getting burned left and right! Fire Allen too, very disappointing and over rated!
