Well, after another meltdown by USF yesterday, we are 1-6 and it looks like we made the wrong hire in Jeff Scott.

His in game coaching decisions leave a lot to be desired.

After my initial positive thoughts on this hire, it looks like another wrong decision was made.

There are no excuses, we should be better than 1-6 and be able to close out a close game.

Pathetic!

If we don't, does that mean we have a Michael Kelly problem again?

Based on all the rave reviews of this guy, I expected much improved recruiting for next year.

I really don't see any improvement in recruiting. Currently, we are ranked #61 overall and the O-Line recruits have low ratings.

Not impressed at all!

It shouldn't be that hard to recruit for a team where you can almost guarantee instant playing time

quality recruits don't commit to us early. they wait until other bigger offers don't come thru.

Its only a Michael Kelly problem is he allows another cancer to kill the program...again.

So the answer is "not yet" .....?

Taggart went from winning 2 games in year one to double digits wins by the end of his tenure.

Patience.

Taggart wasn’t required to lose for 2.5 years in order to get to winning any more than Jeff Scott is currently and had Taggart continued his patient path he would have been gone by year 3. CJS has more talent on this roster than CWT had and CJS does not seem to be positioning himself to be the recruiting juggernaut that CWT was. No one needs to be patient CJS needs to do better and there is no better time to start that than immediately.
