2. Plan on the likelihood of a season with no fans in the stands. 

If we’re not all completely and totally out of the woods by this summer, liability-wise, how can schools allow fans into the stadiums without testing every one of them before they enter?

Again, we’re almost certainly not going to have a vaccine for everyone by late August – if there is one – so even if the curve is flattened, thousands of people cramming together in stadiums all across the nation six months from now might still be a no-go.

There is a lot at stake.  At the very least, we have to get it back on the field, even without fans in the stands.  Too integral to economy.

Its already being contained in China, and it was first discovered in late December.  That's a full 3 months for it to filter through the population and start to die off.

If that trend continues throughout the rest of the world, and this thing doesn't mutate into something worse.  We should be expect to be back to normal by mid Summer well before Football Season.....if not Good Lord help us!

Um, ask Hong Kong how that return to normal life is going.   Really hope I'm wrong but  I think we're all dreaming about a full season and have to agree with smazza on this one.
