All he needed was one year of waiting in the wing following the refute of his waiver that sought immediate eligibility, and the rise of a new era could would ensue. After a 6-18 record in head coach Willie Taggart’s first two seasons at South Florida, Woulard would be the much needed spark. The preseason hype was genuine. Media outlets, primarily the posts in Florida, were quick to drum up the highly-anticipated enthusiasm. “His arrival would represent arguably the biggest coup of the Willie Taggart era and could radically upgrade one of the Bulls’ most unstable positions.” Except it’s a full year later and the quarterback buzz isn’t surrounding Woulard; it’s the Quinton Flowers show. With the flip of a switch, here’s how drastic of a change it’s been over 12 flips of the calendar. “With an extra year of eligibility over Flowers, Woulard will most likely get his chance. For now, he is just biding his time.” “Before the rise of Quinton Flowers, several people including myself speculated that transfer QB Asiantii Woulard was a lock to take the reigns as starter once he officially became eligible to play in 2016.” Rest of story

To clarify, I'm all in for QF as our #1 QB choice. CBS has QF as the #25 overall QB prospect for 2018. What's really interesting is seeing AW above QF at #19. http://www.cbssports.com/nfl/draft/prospectrankings/2018/QB We have 2 QBs in our roster that is rated in the top #25 in their position. Pretty impressive if you ask me.

I honestly thought it was just coach speak.

I recall someone else saying he used that same description at some gathering before the 2014 season when asked about the qb's ...... got some of the natives here riled up but I think we saw last year what he was talking about. Hopefully he continues that specialness ...

I still don't particularly like his game, but the kid knows how to win. AW has still yet to play of down of regular season football since high school. All I can figure is that he, and anyone else who thinks he is/was the future, was riding his rivals recruiting ranking. That being said, I simply don't see QF as an NFL quarterback, not even close. AW, who knows, he has not played in three years!
