  1. Believe me, I'd love to see it, I just don't think it's in the cards UNLESS something strange happens baseball-wise. He was at Manatee when our old coach (holtz) pulled some scholarships at Manatee..with the leavitt leaving USF Very unvavorable.. This realy needs to be fixed. . Offering him and lettling him develop in both sports is also in his best interest. He was offered and had no interest in coming to USF... ever... Is this after Willie came on Board or a recation to Holtz Looks like some burned bridges need to be fixed. Go Willie Go Bulls

  3. I have friends who are baseball "mothers". They have had up to 4 minor league players in their home (never had children)n. Some have gone to the majors most do not. It's not as rosy as people think. Being traded without notice.. playing florida one week then in Boise the following week. by bus. Only in the majors do they fly. minimal money.. I have had many a meal with them. I dont have expertise knowledge but these Baseball mothers do.
  4. Even if he gets drafted. It does not guarantee the majors. Most likely ridiing the bus in tripple or double A. He could be playing infront of 40,000 fans in Ramond Jame in 2 years. Go Bulls
  5. I believe he could be an option.. College baseball players do much better signing after college than out of high school. I believe he has the talent to do both. It's a win-win. He can play footbal develop and play baseball develop.
  6. I can understand --don't fully understand how this athlete was over looked..time to kiss and make him a Bull.. From Bradenton Herald Those days were special, including this year, when Sandberg accrued 2,674 passing yards, 34 passing touchdowns and one interception in 265 attempts to go along with 611 rushing yards, 10 rushing touchdowns and one interception in 265 attempts.
  7. Is it time to look at Cord again. Looks talented also could help in baseball program also. Offer him both sports?
  8. Dual threat would compliment White...Its a short Ride to Raymond James.. He committed a long time ago. May the light shine bright ...Go Willie GO Go Bulls
  9. And very smart. Keeping recruits in the loop about futute recruits and program advances will keep him secure and sold in his commitment to USF. I realy like what I am observing..This is what I have always dreamed about. Good coaching, GREAT WINS. Go Bulls Sorry double post

  11. If my memory is correct -not certain--I believe Bill Gramatica was found playing soccer for USF and Coach Leavit. Put a jersey on him and a week later he was on the field. Go Bull Correct as needed I won't be offended
  12. I remember when Mike Ford was at USF. I had such high hopes yet was sadly disapoinited.with the results. Flashes of brilliance and OH S***T. We had a decent passing game but as the season progressed opponents knew how bad our running game was. I am excited to think how Willie T will turn the program around. What type of running game do you envision? Pulling Guads, play option or Big 10 midwest straight ahead brute force? Go Bulls
  13. ET tried the number and Jenny says she didn't know you???
  14. This might be an option..If he cant find another school right now start at USF and transfer to another program..It a win win..He gets a year of training...USF did the right thing. Go Bulls
  15. Did this years ago to the frat houses looking for a field goal kicker. Youre not nuts just tired.. Go Bulls..
  16. You missed the most important aspect..in 60-s-when I was there... the breweries had free food ..They helped many a poor USF student thru school. Not to mention the free beer.
  17. Florida State Who is Florida State? Its a girls school where they got real H***ny so they finally let some guys in. Took them about 80 odd years to get H****ny
  18. And Great Beaches, Girls, and NFL stadium with COMFORTABLE SEATS...Often taken for granted unless you travel to away games.. Go Bulls
  19. I also believe he can see the advatages of our program.Top notch coaches with NFL experience. They have been there and done that...the personal one on one conversations. Willie Tagerts mentors are in the SUPER BOWL..He knows what it takes. If a recruit can't figure that out im not sure we want him.. The defense needs speed and field awareness (intelegence) to watch and analyse the play. What good is speed if you are running in the wrong direction.. I also believe his coaches are intelegent enough to guide him so he can fully develop. Go Bulls . Yesterday I couldn't spell intelligent and today I are one..... Thanks I luve companie
  20. Last year, USF played a season without an O line. I agree my hat is off to BJ Daniels...He had guts and strength of character......My wife just shuddered watching our offensive line. This is the QB that directed our win against FS and last year we know what happened. It was the coaching that let us down.. Its just a shame that he did not have an oportunity to play for Taggart. Go Bulls There were at least 5 different O line configurations due to injury. It certainly wasn't all coaching when it came to the O line. Fully agree. I would like to add injuries happen. The lack of depth at positions are all part of the problem and this I attribute mostly to recruiting.

  23. This was the original statement. That's the point I was referencing that you made by showing the amount of other talent he'd be surrounded by here at USF. USF probably gives him more of a chance to shine individually than Clemson would, but at FAU (which isn't happening), he would be the greatest player in their history and the main attraction from the minute he shows up. So, as I said, if being the main attraction is his only motivation in picking a school, there are better options than USF. But I think we give him a nice mix of the chance to win along with the chance to stand out from the crowd. Ah gotcha. Though, he could be the "showcase" at specifically the QB position here! A dual threat QB like Woulard would be a good transition for our offense and defense..Both Grothe and Daniels were able to take advantage of their running ability..With our latest recruits we can develop a Dual Threat QB as well as a pocket passer. The best QB for a game would be dependent on the defensive match ups. Go Bulls
