It's not about who is the best. It's about the Hype...I believe Texas A&M had the best team this year.. There are many factors that influence the win loss column...Just because you are in the SEC does not make you GOD. Go Gators....

Now let me get this right..There are 11 quaterbacks on the team... Right.... Grothe got hurt...Daniels stepped in his first real game---we won and he was unknown at that moment to most football programs... Its a team sport..11 players...a weak defense is going to loose...a good defense can win the game- special teams....right

And this decommit just happens to be on the day Holtz is fired. Riiiight. He is delusional if he thinks that a SEC school will get him into the pro's Entry into the pro's is based on skills development durring his college carrier.. More important is the skills he learns/develop, the hard work and conditioning. The development is highly related to the quality of the coaching staff. I believe with Willie T and our new coaching staff we can compete with any SEC school

Have you noticed how stange the weekly rating polls are. There are usually two teams from the big east in the polls in the 15 to 25 rankings. We are about even in skills and abilities and our wins and losses against each other gives other conferences pollsters an excuse for The BE team ranking.. The SEC has a lot of poor teams to help them out get their 10 win seasons...the omegas---Kentucky for an example.. USF came close to beating Louisville and they gave a wooping to the Gators...The SEC is not that mightly..They just controll the hype.. Your reasoning might have merit if these SEC teams only played one sport. But they don't so that goes out the window. These schools are all in the SEC for various reasons including sports other than football and academic prestige. I fully agree- Its the fooball hype I get sick of. UK has a great basketball teamand is always ranked near the top. Football dollars fuel other sports and many schools have great soprts programs and I am proud to help student athletes get an educaion with my football dollars.

Lol, the SEC might have been a little down this year, but they're hyped for a reason. They are always the best conference because they get most of the best recruits. Even though I hate that conference, I'm unbiased enough to realize that the SEC is king. I can agree the SEC is a good conference. I just remeber reading in this blog how recruit * ratings went up or down depending on the school they commited to.. USF has had some great players make it to the NFL. In no way will I agree or accept the fact that our recruiting ranks 64 Nationally... Recuiting rankins are just a tool that can justify coaches polling ratings.. Its never been a level playing field...The Bowls I believe are a better indicator for confence strength. The BE has been dominent there.

It was that win that helped put us on the National Radar and our great ranking.. The Oregan Duckss were better than us that year. Would have like to have had the win in the Bowl Game.

I was commenting on some interviews he gave where he said the BUCS would have won more games if they threw more passes to him. Its simular how I look at Terrible Owens,,,, as lots of tallent but not mutch of a team player. His Tallents got him on the team..his mouth got him traded.

I think The Bus driver will bring lots of excitement and lots of fans. .I remember the first game. Yes We won our opening game. There were lots of good memories. Last minute wins goal line stands we held them for four downs,, fumble recoveries on the 1/2" yard line. - Hard won victories and new fans came on board. Its a long way from the several thousand fans from the first season I remember the first game in the SWAMP. We were great in the first half..I thought we had arrived.... USF has played some great teams in the past..Notre Dame being one of them...We are building history. Let' s not forget the past.

Woulard reminds me of Keyshawn 'Throw me the ball and we will win" Johnson when he was with the BUCS. A lot of talk with limited skills. He always was a better talker..he found his nitch on ESPN.

For the new USF fans. I would like to provide them with our history and let them know of all our great moments...Gramatica kicking the logest Field goal etc. Yes we atempted one from the 50 yard line. The win over FS, etc.

If a running back has good blockers who can open the hole he will get possitive yards. If he is quick chages direction well he gets more yards..The "frige" was fun to watch..but he was not the meat and potatoes running back that won games.. I am more interested in a running back who can get by the defenders then physical size. If he is short and fast the defense won't see him till it is too late . Been there had it happen to me in HS. A large running back to bull-doze the defense and wear them out. And a short fast one to get by them. I played in HS and realized that if there was a team made of 11 clones of me we never would have won the first game ..Balance..Diversity and Willie T for me...go bulls

I remember Grothe...He was to small for the pros. NO hipe he just loved USF and gave it his all. Never used USF for a sounding board..We need a quaterback thats quiet and deadly....

Been a donor since the first day they announced the formation of a football team. I watched the team grow in size and strength and speed. This is just a hic up. There are too many alumni who have waited for over 50 years to have a football team. I believe that Willie T has a winning attitude and has the knowledge and skills to organize a wnning organization...$75,000 budget and a bus got us started.. We are in the garage geting some repairs made the Bus is getting ready to roll--so get on or get out of the way ...We are starting to roll---Go Bulls

To all those BE nay sayers...In real life there exiists the omega wolf. The SEC is loaded with them..#3 looses to #25. right..lets get rid of the hipe. The reason the BE has the win and loss records is because we are all close to being equal..not so in the SEC. They pack it so they can continue..Auburn supposed to win the SEC at the bottom of the pack..Right. I Graduated from USF I received my education.

When players get to full of themselves they stop being teammates with the rest of the team. They forget it's the team that wins games. I don't care how good a quaterback is if there is no line to protect him. P***-off and act like a primadona,, blocks get missed and games get lost. In the old-days,,,I know its not that long ago I always had hope. One pass, one run, one interception,a blocked punt, fumble recovery was all it took for us to win. We were not ther biggest but we were fast, hit hard and played every minute of the game.. Some how that got lost. When I sit and watch our defense alllow 3rd and long conversions time after time the players walking off the field, joking on the sidelines as we are loosing I wonder "What happened to our swagger"

The best thing for USF is to win. If we can surprise ESPN comentators with a huge win over FS, UF or Miami the recruits will come. BJ Daniels was magical at FS. We cheered for 15 minutes in the stands after the game was over. I took a picture of the score board to prove I was there. I would rather play in the BE and win honestly then have dubious penalties called by the officials so the premier school is guarantied to win and placed in the top 10. I can stll remember the defensive pass interference called on us when Rutgers pushed off our safety and won the game in the last few seconds. UL beat the pants off the Gators. nuff said.

I would love to see Wilder fully develop here, make the NFL and hear Howard Wilder DC USF anounced at the start of the 2015 Superbowl.
