Nobody outside of the p5 wins.
I don't know who's better, ucf or us. I mean had we won that game, we'd be in their shoes (conference title opportunity), and Strong might be getting more attention (speculation on my part).
I mean you get some national recognition and then your coach is gone. Meanwhile, the university tries to come up with the cash to pay for skyrocketing prices on good coaches.
As for coaches and money, the days of loyalty are gone -loyalty to the cash is more like it. Can't blame them, though.
Oregon: how do you like them apples?!
My stomach is going to turn big time if both ca$h and Leavitt end up at FSU. What's this world turning into?! Will pigs fly now?
As for USF, I suppose the jury is still out on Strong (and his coaching style). His system can work, I suppose, but he could have been a little more flexible and won us a few more games this year. Oh, well... He stays or go, doesn't matter to me. I'm trying to get over a "What could have been year" for USF.
Right now, my question is this: What has Strong and the Texas staff brought us so far? NOTHING. That's my answer and I'll stand by that.
Next year? Maybe. I'm still pretty mad about this year. Maybe the long summer will help. Yes, Texas paid for most it. That helps a little bit to ease the bitterness.
Salvation? Maybe If we play a well-known program in the bowl and win.
