    Uhh…no. USF makes little to no $ on away tickets (I believe they used to make a few $on postage). So buying from USF is really not supporting them. They should be glad that fans are willing to hit the road to support them.

    The B12 tv contract opens in two years. You really think that the value will be lower than the PAC? Hell in two years the likihood is that the PAC will be gone. That conference has ZERO stability. Everyone is looking to bounce. Oregon is making calls everyday. No way Phil Knight stays in a doomed league for long. Why in the hell would a B12 school want to go into that instability and take less/similar money in the process? You are trying to create a mental path for USF to get to the B12 and it simply is not there.

    I’lI disagree on that. The PAC will be less money. It is already less due to being on the west coast. The inventory of the B12 does not include a marquee team, but it’s time distribution and inventory is greater (and I’ll argue it has better quality). Long term, the PAC will not survive unless they expand with a few G5 schools but I’ll be surprised if they do it due to their cultural positions.

    More than likely the PAC10 will be nothing but a shell in 2 years or less. Their contract will be lower than the B12. The B12 survived this and look like the last conference in the P3. You can hope and dream all you want but USF is in an unenviable position right now.

    What if 10 of 12 teams leave? There is no way that the 2 teams remaining are going to get a windfall from the 10 who left. That would be easily litigated.

    Legally it comes down to how many teams from a conference can leave before it is automatically dissolved.

    I got a feeling that may happen. I don’t know about every school (cal and Stanford probably not), but the numbers are interesting.

    App price just increased $9.99…ugh. You can blow it off but let’s face it if your are going to watch most of USF sports you will need it. Probably about 3/4 football games and 75% of our ****** men’s basketball.
