  1. I thought the sane thing about JJ Barea last year, and I was wrong. I doubt Battier keeps it going, but I think someone else will fill the void. Don't overlook the impact of Bosh's rebounding either.
  2. Wow. You get all that after one home game for the Thunder? Great analysis.
  3. If Murray gets into better shape, he is that every down back. My only knock on the guy is his stamina and speed, but those things can be improved upon.
  4. Not if Lebron keeps playing like he's the bath salt snorting, face eating Miami zombie.
  5. You can bet Spoelstra will be taking most of the heat, and there will be calls for Riley to step in like he did in '05-'06. Wade or James might be shopped around for depth. By the way, Bosh, Wade and James are all about 1.5-2 million shy of a max contract. But that matter won't once when they win it all.
  6. You guys are confusing warning points with +/- "reputation" rating. Look right below your profile picture.
  7. Made a pretty big shot to send it to OT last night. Free thow misses are killing Miami.
  8. Collegiate sailing places double-handed (2 person - skipper and crew) dinghys sailing simultaneously against eachother on a triangular course or variant there of. All boats start at the same time and place and finish at the same place. It is essentially a tactical sport where awareness and ability to take advantage of wind shifts gives you the edge. Of course it also helps most of the time if you're skipper/crew combo are light (much like a jockey on a horse). Each school has two teams (A and B ). Your finishing place is your score and lowest aggregate score wins. Sailing has always been dominated by schools from the Northeast.
  9. Real cute. I'm with 2-Pac on this one: "Oh yah Mobb Deep (uh) You wanna **** with us You Little young ass mother ******* Don't one of you ***** got sickle-cell or something."
  10. $tephen Ro$$ Need$ $$$$. Better yet, he needs a freakin' quarterback.
  11. Why? I saw it happen vs Dallas last year when it counted. Was I wrong last year when I said the heat wouldn't win a ring ? Spurs could possibly sweep the whole playoffs. Wrong again. Dallas made half their threes in the finals last year, and to their credit, exploited the gaps along the perimeter against Miami's defensive rotations. Miami's FG% was average in that series. You were right though, they lost when it counted most and Miami got beat by JJ Barea and Jason Terry drilling shots from 25 feet out. Nobody saw that coming but you.
  12. Your blind hatred is astounding Bruce. I know you are an NBA fan and I know you didn't expect to Heat to be cold from the field for an entire series. You're better than that.
  13. Not arguing that point, there's definitely work left to do and nobdy is celebrating beating the Pacers.
  14. Funny how everyone had something to say a week ago. Even X to tha Z Xzibit chimed in with some ********. Just wanted to point that out. And which one of you clowns gave Bruce a thumbs up for this gem: How many times can you be wrong in one post?
  15. A lot of things come in to play; confidence or lack of, match ups, etc. I've seen teams get hot for an entire series as well as get cold. The Heat are the more, "talented" team but they seem to be mentally collapsing. If they don't straighten that out, they won't win the series. I think it has more to do with poor shooting, especially from 3-pt range. Defense collapsed in the 4th quarter last night after they cut the lead to 11. Then they gave up mentally.
  16. Averages tend to play out over the course of a series. On average (statistically) I think Miami is the better team. Without Bosh, i think the gap is narrow.
  17. You can't shoot 35% from the field forever. They still win the series.
  18. How many more f-ing players does LeBron need to win a championship? Not the number of players, just type of player. Believe that Pat Riley knows that and knows that what he is doing isn't likely to win titles, but it is extremely profitable. I actually agree with you. Miami should trade, gasp, Dwayne Wade, and get an outside shooter. Miami should trade Wade or Lebron and try to get Dwight Howard or some other legitimate post player. They have outside shooters: James Jones (career 40%), Mike Miller (career 40%). Some depth wouldn't hurt either. Wade and James were both tired at the end of that last game and were bringing weak garbage into the lane and they could not finish.

  20. Everyone would be singing a different song about Lebron if he ever had a legitimate post player to compliment his game. This Miami team isn't built to win championships, it's built to sell tickets and merchandise.
  21. Heat match up better against OKC than LAL or San Antonio. Size gives Miami problems, not speed. Miami can run the floor better than anyone in the league and that's OKC's game.
  22. Your height/weight is mixed up on those two. Richardson looks like a physical specimen. Soon we'll have a whole team full of 6'3" 200 lb wide outs. I like where this is heading.
