after i watched the replay i have to say, Floyd saw the pressure coming because he tried to speed up. At that point you have to protect the ball. I still agree that he should not be put in that situation but he pooped in his pants.

Its not all defense... having an inconsistent QB, no depth at RB, and one good wr is also a major issue. that one good wr had 21 yds today....he is good but we have several good wrs

oh and Matt will get his 1st team reps when he earns them.....that might be this year or next.....

BJD is a glorified running back with one hell of an arm... he is not the answer and is holding us back... you keep saying the same thing over and over again but fail to offer up who you think on our team will not hold us back and is actually a better QB then BJ! The Cult of BJD needs to back off the kool aid... he is a great athlete but he is not the only option, and last time I checked Matt Floyd has less game time, and less experience then BJD. Assuming that we can stomp BSU I would like to see Skip bring Floyd out by the third quarter and give him the entire second half of the game. I have also stated what we need to do as far as BJD goes... make him a dual threat RB and give him a direct snap every so often. Im not blaming Floyd for the loss of yardage at all. He did what he was asked to do, others didn't (OLine and RB). I was just stating what happened on the play and i wanted to point out that he did get into the game. Nothing changed when he came in. The RB didnt suddenly run for 10 yds that carry or the OL didnt suddenly start blocking.This is a team game so the team needs the blame not one person. I'm not drinking any kool aid bro. I hope Matt Floyd turns into a stud quarterback for us. Until he wins the QB competition we need to cheer for the starting QB whomever that might be. How do you know how he would do? Fact is, BJ will not be here next year. Matt will, why not give him the chance to show what he can do with the 1st team? He may fall flat on his face, he may excel. BJ fumbled the put....didnt field the kickoff and he didnt catch the ball in the endzone that hit him in the numbers....I agree with you!

I'm tired of everyone saying i can't wait until he leaves...he is the best QB option that we have on the team right now. They did put in another QB last night for one play that resulted in a loss of yardage play. I hope i am wrong but even if Asanti does stick to his commit, if our Oline doesnt give him anymore time then BJ is getting right now then we will have the same results. The entire football team is horrible right now. 2 of his 3 picks werent his fault. One was a TD if caught. That pass hit the WR in the numbers. Davis as great as he has been let a ball go right through the hands on a play where BJ hit him stride for stride. We could finger point all day and its going to get us nowhere. Again, I'm not trying to defend BJ and say his is the answer to our problems, i am simply saying he isn't the only problem and i have a feeling if we dont improve in other areas....we floyd, eveld, or whomever will look twice as bad. Let's look at other areas of concern. Mitchell has fumbles two times now returning puts. No one is calling for a new punt returner. Murray's numbers are below average as a RB (lack of blocking facts into this as well) but no one is saying thank god he is a senior. He is not the best option for a QB... he might be the best athlete on the team, but he is far from the best QB option. At best BJD is a mediocre QB that can run better then the next guy on the roster, it does not mean that he can throw better, just that he can run better. Just because he can run a little bit better should not automatically make him the starter. Also just because he can chuck a ball 70+ yards does not make him the best QB option... in my book the best QB option would be able to throw the ball away when no body is open, make consistent short to medium passes, and would be able to actually hit a receiver on a consistent basis on the deep pass. Right now BJD just chucks it up and hopes that the receiver can catch up to the ball, which almost never happens. At best BJD is a good Tight End or Running Back / Dual Threat option... he should not be the main QB taking the snaps. If you don't agree with me then fine, but don't be surprised when we have a repeat of last year thanks to BJD. The defense is a bit soft but did their job last night... had BJD not chucked a bunch of INT's, and had been able to hit the wide open receivers, which he always misses, then we could had won. This game ranks up with the UF game in my book, where we could had won had it not been for the BJD super-fun interception comedy hour. Who is the best option on the team then? You keep failing to see the point of 2/3 INT's were not the fault of BJD last night. One in particular was thrown to Landi...hit him in the numbers....and then intercepted. If Landi does his job then we score. THAT IS NOT THE QBs fault. I do agree with you that he does miss ALOT of WRs but the problem with the team isnt ALL BJD. Just a little stat that means nothing really but I'll throw it out there. Matt Floyd is 3 out of 7 in passes this year against UTC. That equates to 42% completion rate........

Again...not defending BJ but that interception in the endzone is all on Landi. If you can't catch a ball that hits you in the numbers and it gets intercepted then shame on the WR.....not the QB. Trust me i critizcize him enough but when its warranted...That first interception was horrible...next two werent him. And when we start new at the position next year, if our OLine doesnt improve any then i hope the sun dolls can catch because we will be snapping the ball and the QB will be throwing it away out of bounds as fast as he can..........

My Father-n-law wants to bring his RV (40ft) to the FSU game for pre game tail gating. Any information on what extra is needed to be able to do this would be appreciated. Do we simply pull up and pay the $45 parking fee and park by the other RVs? Will anyone else be bringing an RV to this game? Thanks, Mike
