    Outsmarted ourselves on that poor play call

    I know we lost the game, but there's a lot of positive from this game. We played a complete game. Defense, offense, and special teams. McClain is getting more comfortable as a college QB. First game all season that wasn't painful to watch. I just wish we could've picked up the win too.

    Probably just an announcement to announce there will be a future announcement announcing an intent to consider an on campus stadium.

    I guess if this is the positive thread, I like that the team kept fighting and didn't quit. It could have been 50-3 blowout type game, but they turned it into a one score game. That was promising. I'm still not sold that McClain is even a good college QB, but for a freshman he showed some grit going on the road to play in Utah. He also protected the ball well.

    On the bright side, we still beat UCF in academics. And I don't think that will change anytime soon. Don't invest so much energy in this football thing. Just accept we're a mediocre football program and enjoy it in the best way you can.

    I mean he showed some brief flashes of being a competent QB in his final game, but honestly he's an average QB at best. I suspect this was mutual because CJS probably is looking at someone else to be our starter next season.

    Is there a PR plan for this? Leavitt will have to answer a lot of tough questions about his last tenure here. Also, I'm sure Joel's family won't go silently into the night. I hope they're ready to handle some backlash if they are bringing him back.
