  1. Can you show me the 2011 stat sheet that shows BJ throwing a lot of interceptions and focusing on a single receiver? I've searched for it and haven't been able to find it. Its right next to his Heisman.
  2. Sterling's stats through the Temple game (6 games), 1845 yards, 32.9 yd avg rec, 25 TDs, 77yd longest, 334 yac, 6 yd avg ac, 6 drops. Others on the list are Le Veon Bell of Mich St, Marcus Lattimore of SC, Montel Harris of BC and James Vandenberg of Iowa. player ratings for Sterling overall 89 speed 93 acc 92 agility 91 awareness 84 catching 85 route running 87 catch in traffic 82 spectacular catch 80 jumping 81 BJ, well, throwing all the time to one WR, lots of picks. SO...its pretty real, lol. Rating of 211 (right!), 78/172, 33TDs 19 INTs.
  3. The thing is that Luv wants money for his rosters. Which I will gladly pay because I enjoy having corrected rosters and ratings and know he has put countless hours into them. But if he won't have them for months.....I probably will be using someone else's for free by then. He does an excellent job though. No import into Madden was a big letdown. I get what they are doing though and am really looking forward to all the changes both on and off the field for Madden this year. It seems to be as big a change to the game from when it jumped from those lousy computer graphics of the 90s to real looking players. Right now I have Sterling Griffin as the #1 Heisman candidate. I just target him all the time and against a FCS school, Nevada and Ball State, by the time I got to the FSU game he was already on the list. I am using Luv's Roster #5 for the basis.
  4. Tell you what I really like about NCAA 12 is custom conferences with the ability to change around during every offseason. I am playing Temple now, this season, and will add the rest of the incoming teams to the Big East, along with all the other conference changes, in the next offseason. I think that when I do that, I will add ND to the Big East to round it out. Either ND or BYU and then make a Big East championship game.
  5. Well first off, Luv has a job so he isn't doing rosters this year. I just read that. http://luvtotha9sros...wsbad-news#3711 I am sure someone else will though, will have to monitor Operation Sports. I know that EA always has some server issue though with online dynasties. The failed transfer issue for NCAA to Madden is an easy fix in offline dynasties. You ignore the first prompt in NCAA to export rosters and do in on the second one, after transfers and then everything is just fine. This year though, Madden 13 and NCAA 13, there is no import from NCAA to Madden. Madden has a totally new system for drafting including fake social media that has a dozen reporters tweeting responses to your actions for things you do. Like if you decide during the season in Madden to scout a hot QB, a writer that is covering your team will tweet it so everyone in your franchise knows you are after that player. The developer said they may in future additions add back NCAA import, but only if they can get it right. As it is, all players from round 7 pretty much have F potential. And another change in Madden is NO MORE PLAYER POTENTIAL ratings! Lots of great things going to happen in Madden this year. Funny how the threat of competition with loss of an exclusive contract makes one pull out all the stops.
  6. You can get, or make, custom rosters with the player names added and the more correct ratings. Most who are serious about the game know that and wait for updated rosters. They take a lot or work to put together though.
  7. UCF has had a college intern program with Tiburon, the EA Sports studio that makes the game located in Orlando, for years. A couple of years back you could look at the credits and they had the team affiliations of all the staff who did the programming and testing. Many had UCF logos next to their name, but there were also several USF alumni/fans working on the game. This year's version, USF is rated the lowest of any Florida team at 81 overall, including the Owls and Panthers. Contrast that with taking a realistic version of USF's team from NCAA 12 in 2011, and advancing it over the offseason and you get a team in the low 90s because of all the juniors and seniors. I am used to USF getting screwed in ratings so I use custom rosters that I have input into, http://luvtotha9sros...orumotion.com/. I just hope the dude decides to do them again this year. He does them like Madden, several versions through the year and one post season. http://articles.orla...iburon-noel-ucf 15 minute videos that shows the ratings of the top players from most every team. I haven't watched it yet but here is the link if you want to see the USF vs UCF starter ratings. UCF is at 2:07 and USF was skipped along with 2 other teams. Of course.
  8. Looks very video gamish. Sure that it will be a hit with those visiting.
  9. What the **** are the italics for?? 67k + posts and he is still learning how to use a message board. i am not computer literate sue me Don't worry about it. Some people on here are just asses. LOL - since you're new here, I won't spoil it for you - stick around a little longer and you'll figure out smazza in no time. smazza may have a minority opinion on some topics, but at least he sticks to his guns no matter what response he invokes.
  10. Why would a team want to stay in a conference with 4 D2 teams and no TV deal even possible. I mean talk about media markets Wyoming, have you been to Wyoming? There are more Bigfoots in Wyoming than people. New Mexico, CSU in bustling Fort Collins, CO. Now granted people watch football in LV, but only to gamble on the outcome, and they sure don't bet on UNLV. Yes. I've been to Wyoming. Drove from Sarasota to Anchorage one summer, camping along the way. Drove through eastern Wyoming on I25 through Cheyenne which is the north end of the Front Range Urban Corridor where over 4 million people live. It starts in south eastern Colorado and ends at Cheyenne. I have lived and worked in both of those states. I actually drilled an oil field discovery well right outside of Ft Collins. US Census(2010)- WY 568K- Weld Co CO-FtCollins- 252K. Nice map but only about 3 people on that map watch WY FB. Media market may be the worst in the US. CSU not much better. There is only 1 college FB town in CO and it's in Boulder. Imean if I shaded in that much land around Tampa, it would probably include the entire state of FL. Pretty map though. Colorado Springs is a college FB town too (Colorado Springs Metropolitan Statistical Area had an estimated population of 645,613 in 2010). The Air Force Academy is there. The attendance for Falcons football games is much larger than for CSU games in Boulder. The highest attended Rams game was 30k last year. It was 46k for Air Force. Matter of fact the attendance last year for Wyoming football was close to that of CSU. All but one of the Wyoming games were on TV, either on Mountain's TV (owned by Mountain, NBC and CBS) channel or ESPN or Versus or on ESPN3/game plan.

  12. LOL. As it is, the Big East doesn't have a TV deal. And its easier to go undefeated playing lessor teams and get national attention. Ask Boise St.
  13. With the playoffs, why would any school want to join the Big East? Especially one on the other side of the country. Especially with no TV deal.
  14. I thought all of this was supposed to happen in 2 years. Why now?
  15. Ahhh, now it comes back to me... But she was a he. Not sure how that fits with Fit In a Few Years. Ironic. I am watching the 2011 80's Rewind Festival on my DVR. Holly Johnson is singing "Relax". She IS A he and was the lead singer of Frankie Goes To Hollywood. "Holly says, Relax, Don't Do it!"
  16. Looking down the alumni list. Holly Madison and Courtney Love! How did I not know about his school???? What a LEGACY!
  17. They can claim temporary insanity by the former BE Commish. Or temporary insanity of the member institutions for having him as commish.
  18. Just remember that SMU and Houston with their Run and Shoot and Air Attack offenses, that produced Case Keenum at Houston with his 19,000 yards of passing and another almost 1000 yards of rushing, is coming into the Big East. June Jones was mentored by the coach who perfected that type offense at the college level, Mouse Davis and in 2010 SMU's Kyle Padron had just under 4,000 yards passing. I hope BJ gets it, but I don't know how long it will stand, just like Grothe's is now being threatened. .
  19. My point is not that FSU to the Big 12 WILL definitely happen, beyond all doubt. My point is that there is no question at all that serious negotiations are taking place, and sources inside of both FSU and the Big 12 believe it will happen. And they aren't FAR away from taking place. Unless you consider July far away. Yeah, well, those sources should have talked to the FSU alumni and supporters. The ones I've talked to don't want to leave the ACC for the Big 12.
  20. June Jones was running the ball until their RB who avg 6 yards/carry got a toe injury. And yeah, 7-6 with an "A" schedule is a good team. USF would have maybe had 1 win with that same schedule. Conversely, Texas A&M with USF's schedule most likely would have won the Big East.
  21. SMU also lost their number 1 rusher and was using a converted lineman as an RB the last 1/3 of last year. And I wouldn't characterized last year's Texas A&M team as "very average". Not with the schedule they had and scores against ranked teams. 1 point loss to #7 Okl St, 4 point loss to #18 Ark, 3 point loss to #17 KSU in OT, 2 point loss to #25 Texas.
  22. SMU also beat #10 TCU last year. And that So Miss team beat #6 Houston and ended the year #19.
  23. I was thinking of the teams coming to the Big East, besides Boise St, that Temple may be the one that has the best success. However, one of three bowl games from last season still available to watch on ESPN3.com via the Xbox app is the BBVA Compass Bowl, SMU vs Pitt. For those that think the teams coming in don't deserve to be in the Big East, SMU dominates Pitt in this game. Yes, Pitt only had 4 full time coaches in the game, but SMU looked like the BCS team and Pitt, the non-BCS team. June Jones has done a great job with the SMU program. Watching this game, after the garbage that has happened, makes me feel glad that Pitt is departing, getting spanked by an incoming team so decisively. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/2012_BBVA_Compass_Bowl
