    There is only one player in the conference averaging more than five assists per game, and only five other guys averaging more than four per game. You scoff at five assists (off the bench, no less) like it's nothing - it shows you don't actually follow the sport. I haven't seen anyone say he's going to "turn the season around" - nice strawman.     Who said he was going to turn the season around. It just shows how important point gurad play is. Also how valuable AC is even at 60%. What makes you think he won't get a redshirt.

    See what point guard play does in college hoops. the reason he didn't play 5 games is because he wanted to red shirt him. Now that it looks like AC will redshirt he should get more minutes

    I really think we need to look back a couple of years ago and start playing Rudd a little more at the point forward position. At least until AC gets back which they said is looking like the temple game. CA Jr is clearly better suited for the 2 guard. We have enough players to rotate up front that can cover the rebounding and scoring down low. Hope Musa and hawkins can get healthy because we badly need some outside shooting. Brock and McLendon can sub in for time on an as needed basis. Brock has been a big disapointment this year. he takes too many outside shots (he can't shoot) and he needs to be our defensive stopper if he wants more minutes. If we get healthy and play to our potential I still see us top 5 AAC and a shot at the tourney.

    the problem is consistency from our two freshman bigs. thats the problem with young players. but the best thing is the become sophmores (Al Maguire)

    Stop it!! He is gimpy because of the knee. But benching him? thats ridiculous! Allen gets plenty of minutes, true him and Rudd are the MVP's at this point. But AC had the only block and save against FGCU which was a huge play. Last night he had 8 assists. He does what we need him to do and win. AS he gets healthier and more comfortable he will start to gel with these guys. IS he playing as well as two years ago no but the team is better around him so he just needs to mange the team. His Assist to TO is 4 to 1. He always falls down since day one. get used to it. You want brock in there? he is the worst shooter and his defense has regressed. Allen is our stopper on D too. Brock is this years Fitzpatrick a disapointment
