Charlie Strong is trash. waving the white flag down 10 with time on the clock & timeouts in our pocket was ****. he needs to go. that was the last straw. i can't even bring myself to crack sarcastic jokes to hide the shame anymore. absolutely pathetic. Chuckles is only here for the paycheck. he doesnt give a **** about the program, his players or even his pride. he should have been fired last season.

ladies and gentlemen we are witnessing the emergence of an AAC powerhouse. Coach Charlie Strong's ability to adapt, holding walkthroughs on Thursdays and full contact Saturday's has this team on the precipice of storming the NY6.

lots of mistakes & poor execution on both sides of the ball, some at crucial moments, but this team gutted out a very solid OOC win. the best part? seeing the players' reactions, celebrating & rolling on the turf. from the outside looking in, this win FEELS like something the team can build off of. CKB & CBJM were the heroes of this game, Cronkrite proved to be a serviceable workhorse. let's hope CCS doesn't lull the team back to sleep before next game. GO BULLS!! this one felt good.

offensive PI was an atrocious call, but going for 2 was also fairly odd. good win. watching our guys celebrate & roll around on the turf gave me hope. first time I really FELT like they had bought in to this team.

he's having himself a game, no question. 2 TD's now? i would like to see this more consistently, whether it's Cronk's running or the play calling/game planning.

I agree. He doesn't really have that one cut, or at least doesn't utilize it enough. unless the OLine gives him a wide open hole to run thru, he doesn't really seem to make plays happen. it's basically just hand off, run straight thru the hole, get tackled after 3 or 4 yards. wash, rinse, repeat.

But if the thread were "Would you bring Leavitt back" I guarantee "the past is the past" would be drowned out by emphatic support for CJL's return. if u don't like Taggs, cool. but USF fans who yearn for CJL but don't want Taggs cuz "the past" are just making excuses. not saying this is u, but there are tons of USF fans who never got over CJL & would bring all 70 years of him back but couldn't care less about Taggart.

this team is unwatchable, i don't care what jerseys they wear. bringing back the 2007 jerseys without showing any respect to the guy who coached those teams mean nothing.

i haven't been this depressed watching USF play since the Holtz New Error. the defense can make big plays, but they can also give up big plays. also tons of inexplicable mental errors & penalties on both sides of the ball. the inability of the offense to do ANYTHING other than give the ball back to the other team has to be demoralizing for the entire squad. this isn't just **** play calling or **** execution-- both of which are clearly issues-- but **** fundamentals. i don't understand the purpose of having a "tough, old school coach" if he can't teach basic fundamentals & his "disciplinarian" approach amounts to little more than cutting kids who smoke weed. this is a team that is failing at every facet of football, even the most basic fundamentals. other than the occasional big play on defense (which are often negated by giving up big plays), there is nothing about this team worth watching. nothing. when does basketball start?

great. UCF sharts the bed & here's USF, in absolutely no position to take advantage of the AAC power vacuum. another year, another opportunity wasted. (Yes I know it's only 1-loss for USF but we would still need to go undefeated in conference, including beating UCF for a tiebreaker AND hope every other conference team we don't play loses in conference... call me Stevie cuz I can't see it)
