  1. I don't know that I can disagree with you, because there isn't a lot to compare too, but, don't give him too much credit... we are way faster than them and were getting good looks on the deep ball all day. Of course you're going to throw it deep when it's been there and you're down big in the 4th. I could have made those calls. My issue is this... BJ is not a pocket passer... why are we still trying to force that? How many times did we run on 2nd and long to set BJ up with a 3rd and 6+ to try to pick up, and then he missed the throw? That's not good coaching. If he is having accuracy issues, you can't keep putting him in that spot. BJ missed some throws but ultimately played a pretty solid game. Fitch doesn't deserve to be the hero here with his no-brainer play calls and the on-field heroics of BJ and Davis. bj should be running a nevadaesque offense Exactly. Fitch/Holtz have been trying to make him into something he's not for the last 3 years... in their defense, I know he doesn't like to run and he wants to be a pocket passer, but, that is not what is in the best interest of the team IMHO. Maybe he's starting to get it though and they will all look like genius' by the end of the year...maybe?

  3. I was one, I have given BJ props in a couple of threads. I'm still not backing down on Holtz though. The deep ball was all that was working, nothing spectacular about his coaching there. In fairness though... there is nothing is rather be proven wrong about.
  4. BJ could have been a phenom during his college career with a coaching staff that played to his strengths. Hoping he finishes up with a great season. He also didn't put the ball in danger today, that was a good situation for him.
  5. Del... are you going man-crush on him here, or, do you need to see more still?
  6. I'd say Kansas comeback just because at that point, we were higher on ourselves coming off of that 2007 season. That game was huge. This one was great as well, and it was a big 4th quarter deficit to overcome.
  7. I didn't hear any news on Griffin... news on Webster seemed positive. Who else banged up? Short week, gotta get to the trainer tomorrow morning and get well guys.
  8. If they aren't running an option where our DEs and OLBs have to stay home, its different to defend. We looked awful, but, it's a tough system to defend.
  9. Thanks man, you guys should be dominant in most of your games this year. I certainly was shocked at how good you guys are on offense. You have a great QB there and a lot to look forward to over the next 3 years with him. If I were king of the world, I saw enough there to bring yall on in to the Big East. Good Luck!
  10. Well, on the bright side, our defense wasn't built to stop that kind of offense, and hopefully we spent some time on RU last week. I am disappointed, but, not ready to throw in the towel on our D just yet. Barrington, Lattimore, Giddens, Webster, Pork Chop... we have some studs on that defense.
  11. Not even close to the best win ever, but, I am happy none-the-less. Glad to see the guts the guys showed in the last 4 minutes. Congrats to be team, they left it all on the field there at the end.
  12. He needs to take off and run from time to time. He had a lot of green grass in front of him on the second down play.
  13. For the love of God, Erin Andrews is hot, but do we have to see her every break.
  14. Hey we stopped the qb with less than a 25 yard gain. That's positive.
  15. Pinned them back, they'll gt a chance to go over 400 yards in the half for sure.
