  1. While they were stacking the box, so was every other team we have played this year. The running game should be easier to establish since DC will have to respect MIKE White after his last performance. IMO the staff is going to have to let a RB get into a rhythm. I dont think Shaw was ready but he got the main share of the runs against UH. As long as he didnt aggravate anything he should be ready next game. I still want to see Tice be the main back for a game to see what he can do.
  2. Not 100% positive what happened against UH, but our running game was not there. Things will be different for M. White from here on out. D.C. will start game planning for him, find small faults or tendencies, bring the house etc. If the run game can be established, TOP will go a long way in helping our D and should help out our Freshman QB. I think this is the key to winning several of our next games.
  3. Mistral Raymond Nate Allen Trae Williams Mike Jenkins Jerome Murphy We had the talent but the coaching or depth was lacking. There was no reason we shouldn't have been better during the years Allen, Williams and Jenkins were here. We had two CB's that were drafted in the first three rounds and we still lost what 4-5 games. Sigh...maybe u could go back and read my post. While I do agree with u on some of the points, they are bit unrelated to what I wrote. Never said we did not have good DBs under Leavitt... Well even if you're going to narrow your scope to leavitt's last two years...He still had Nate Allen, Kayvon Webster, Quenton Washington, Jerome Murphy. If you're going to be picky yes we dropped off in talent but we weren't hurting per se Note being picky just accurate, and its on you if you make a to my comment Of the orginal list you provided only one was a true CB and J. Murphy was great. Remember the Baker- Butler combo? It was not pretty after being spoiled by lock down CBs in Williams and Jenkins.

  5. The D cannot hang with speedy, pass first offenses. We have been hurting at CB position for years now including Leavitt's last years...
  6. we were the WORST passing offense in the country. Yep and White looked great tonight. I guess I am concerned that I haven't seen that much cushion/separation from our receivers all year long combined with Houston's bad pass defense. But I think there is no question that playing Mike is Right! I am glad there is a bye for him to soak in some plays!
  7. It was the right call.no it wasn't.Yes it was. He extended both arms.No sir he did not Watch the play again with your eyes and not your heart. I saw a two small pushes with one arm from Davis...but maybe I am wrong... It resulted in TD that flipped the score. I promise you it was the situation that dictated the call as much as the actual penalty. I think the point is they were both pushing...Davis did nothing out of the ordinary...I believe it was a bad call. As a ref you let the players play in a close game at the end...that is how CFB is played.

  11. This could swing the bad OSK call... Come on with the shifts
  12. Whats been interesting is the run game has not been better...esp considering how good the passing game has been...lets see if we take adv this drive
  13. Again another quick decision from White...
