Boy was I wrong. I was assuming we would see a 100% White otherwise Bench. Not only was White not 100% but we did not see Bench at all. Not that I am sure it would have made a difference, both O and D was horrible
not a good sign at all...
Looks like Boise will pull it out but the score is deceiving. UCONN has shown some big improvements and heart throughout the game. The last TD was a completed pass to a UCONN recieved which was ripped out of his hands for a TD.
I expect UCONN to give any team in the AAC a good game after today's performance, including USF.
What I like about this game is it will give the opportunity for which ever QB starts to build some confidence going into conference play. No doubt they will try to stack the box and try to make USF throw. I think USF will be able to run effectively still which should take some pressure off the QB as well as open up passing game.
I dont like when teams have a lead and go away from what was working to "protect the lead"...looks like ECU is doing that...momentum is such a large part of sports and is sacrificed when playing this way.
Interested to see how this works out. Wearing a cast is one thing for non-QB positions. But A QB needs his other arm (snaps, falls, pushing off, etc). Seems like an unecessary risk if it is indeed a fracture. Guess we will see...
Hi NewEnglandBull, where do you hear White was starting?
If Mike is a go and 100% I am looking forward to seeing him. I think he may surprise many of the nay sayers. That being said I would have him on an extremely short leash today, especially if his left arm is hurt.
