This is terrible!!! Why didnt USF look at this when they decided to hire CWT? Cant afford to lose to state teams. Especially being 0-2 to in state schools at home. Leavitt's record against schools fromt he state of Florida is freaking amazing. He went undefeated against FAU, FIU, UCF, FSU, but could not beat Miami for some reason. He still had a great record against the state of Florida. We got rid of that over a slap! An alleged slap They got rid of him because he failed to win the conference. A conference much better the one we can only beat Tulsa, SMU and a bad Uccon I thought it was because he lied. QFT

If George O'Leary doesn't retire in the next four years, he will have coached longer at UCF than Jim Leavitt did here. This is the worst possible stage in our program's history. The recruiting isn't horrendous by any means, but our QB situation isn't going to improve unless we get a JUCO, or a blue chip out of thin air who can start as a true frosh. The (unjustifiable) playcalling and (maybe excusable) personnel decisions by CWT have sabotaged the confidence of our current QBs and perhaps ruined them. Taggart according to everyone basically has a year, and with our schedule and roster issues, it just doesn't seem possible. With these in mind, it becomes logical to ask: In late 2015, is USF even close to the destination it was in late 2012 for a coaching search? The prospects are not good.

If in a year or two there is a decision between firing Taggart, or keeping him on a bit longer and dedicate the buyout/new hire funds to Antigua, well, sorry football. Coach O can not leave this program.

This is going to be the longest offseason ever. It's bowl game or bust for taggart and if we're undercoached again we'll have to rebuild all over again, not be relevant until year two aka 2017 and face another player exodus, and by then we'll have had a ghost stadium for a half decade and no players on the roster recruited under the bcs tag. The nightmare is real. Prepare.
