    Talk about has-beens and never-weres... IMO, those are all impressive "names", but crummy coaches. (accept for Richardson who is 64 and out of the loop for years, and Harrick who is as dirty as they come) That line of thinking will continue to doom USF to a pattern of mediocrity and 4-year coaching tenures.

    I don't see how that could be. They were using an ineligible player. That's got to count for something. I hardly believe that it's OK for players to be showered with money and gifts as long as it's not the school doing it. Bush is the link to USC.

    USF does not need a "name", they need a good freaking basketball coach. Quinn Snyder may be a "name", but there's a reason he's available...he flat-out sucks at coaching basketball! If a guy can coach, he'll be a "name" in no time, and then you'll have to worry about fighting off other schools.

    I don't see any other coaches doing that, do you? That's what made it so awesome. I love Pearl, and would love to have him after Pitino, but he really seems to love UT. I think you've got a great one there. I can just imagine Pitino doing it.

    ;D You could count the number of people that cared about USC, period, on one hand ten years ago. I lived right by campus when UCLA was winning seven straight over the Trojans, and well, you've never seen a bandwagoner until you've seen a USC fan. Termites came out of the woodwork. LMAO BTW Herman_Momart, that is a great line under the poster. ;D

    He's young and he certainly has a lot to learn. But what he did at Murray proves he can coach. I don't know what his players think about him, and it really doesn't matter; if he wins he'll have a job(maybe not at UC) and everybody will be happy. My guess is working under Huggins and Pitino hasn't taught him to be a little ball of sunshine. Pitino's not the most pleasant guy to listen to coach, either, FWIW.

    Cronin's going to be a hell of a coach. The guy can recruit. I was hoping he would still be around in a couple of years when the Cards lose Pitino. Oh well.
