    Battie has USF stuff all over his twitter. Believe he was also involved in the Fowler Ave. Collective recently. The tween could mean anything. I don't think Battie is going anywhere.

    Anyone can get injured. Brown can get injured. Gerry played his absolute heart out. Just because he had one injury running the ball diving for extra yardage does not make him "injury prone". I think a lot of people forgot how effective GB was becoming before he went down. GB was not the problem the defense was.

    Don't know that I necessarily agree with this. Bohanon was really slinging the rock when he went down. After starting the with 6 INT's, he had thrown 6 straight TD's without an INT and was also running the ball very effectively. Honestly, I would be good with either. I like GB a lot.

    I doubt Bohanon and Brown are going anywhere. CAG has talked up Bohanon a lot and I don't feel like Brown is going anywhere.

    I'm sure CAG has watched film and is aware of what our needs are on the defensive side. Also, maybe the guys they redshirted last year are as good or better than the DE's they had playing DT last year.

    Maybe he thought he was going to be the starter because McCall was supposed to transfer. When McCall came back, maybe he thought he had a better chance of playing at USF than Coastal. At any rate, even if he doesn't play, he adds depth to what appears to be a stacked QB room.

    3 star transfer QB Bryce Archie commits to USF. Coming from Coastal Carolina. Heard he had an offer to Michigan out of high school.

    We generally don’t get two stars. Usually virtually our entire recruiting classes are 3 stars.

    Numbers signed are always factored in. Teams with more players signed have higher rankings.

    Exactly. Many of these guys just simply aren't that good. Period. Yet everyone wants to bring them in. You've heard of the 2 star player who plays like a 4 star right. Everyone wants those guys. But guess what, there are 4 star players that play like 2 star players and zero star players. What makes you think these guys are any better than the guys on our roster? Coach Golesh knows how to evaluate talent better than you do. He just does. If he didn't offer them, they weren't good enough to make an impact.

    Yates and Hansford were DEs that were forced to play DT. How much did the other 3 guys even play. I don’t remember hearing their names ever. We still have 4 guys in the 290 range to fill 2 DT spots, plus the High School DT we brought in. It’s not optimal but there a base to work with if one or 2 more are added later before fall camp.

    I really think the WR transfer we got can come close to replacing Horn. I really like his video.

    They are not in there. Even if they did get downgraded they are not included. It says 10 3 stars and we should have 13 if they were downgraded.

    2023 Overall AAC Football Team Rankings In order to create the most comprehensive Team Recruiting... see here it says we have 10 3 star and 0 4 star we actually have 11 3 star and 2 4 star the transfers are not yet included in our overall rankings and we have some good ones

    The 247 rankings for whatever reason don’t include our 2 4 star transfers or 3 star transfer. They don’t. It says we have 10 3 stars and no 4 stars and we actually have 11 3 stars and 2 4 stars. I don’t know why their not included yet but if they were our ranking would be way way higher.

    I'm going off memory here, but there are transfer windows. You can't just enter the portal whenever you feel like it. There are two transfer windows per year. If you don't get in during the windows, too bad. They are not that big either, one is like 30-45 days and the other is like 2 weeks. Also, if you sign and NLI you may have committed yourself for a certain time period, maybe one year. I am not 100 percent on this, I am going off memory and don't have time to look up right now, but I do know for a fact there are transfer windows when you are allowed to enter the portal.

    Western Kentucky has a prolific offense. We will struggle to hold them down, unless major improvements are made. They seemingly always have a good QB and offense.

    Speaking of Defensive Tackles, I looked at the roster and noticed that both Jatorian Hansford and Rashawn Yates are no longer listed. I thought both players had another year of eligibility. Does anyone have any inside scoop as to why both are not coming back apparently?
