    by time USF starts selling out RJS, we will be very close to building an OCS, if they havent already announced plans already. I think an OCS is much closer than everyone thinks as great as an OCS would be, it would be even better if we knew we could build a stadium that could hold 70k plus and be known as one of the greatest stadiums in the NCAA. (rather than a 40k erector set) the bucs really had perfect timing with RJS, they have sold out every game there because the team developed into one of the best teams in the NFL as it was built. USF could have the same situation, im sure an OCS is just as common as a topic among the USF AD as it is among this board.

    i read it in an article about the construction of the Tampa stadium, which was for UT and to eventually attract an NFL franchise. ive been trying to find it...ill post it when i do

    we would already have an OCS if it wasnt for our first school president who refused to embrace athletics at USF. The city of Tampa wanted to build the old sombrero on USFs campus back in the day, but they wouldnt have it. I wouldnt mind having a stadium like the old tampa stadium at USF, itd be better than nothing, we'd of probably already have football and be celebrating 30 years instead of 10. but RJS is fine for now, we need to build a stronger more consistent fan base of 50,000+ and then build a stadium so kick ass that teams will line up to play in Tampa.

    10-2 is a very probable, perhaps we could pull off a quick one in WV or UL and get that gator bowl. that would have a huge USF turnout.

    the bookstore replica jerseys are so rediculous, I simply dont understand why we cant get replica jerseys that look like the ones the team wears... even UCF has replica jerseys that look like the real ones... WTF mate?

    This whole thing with Miami could brew into a bitter rivalry. They don't like us. They were scared we were going to come in after that Louisville game and pound them. They even had a press conference with the head coach of Miami before the game on espn with him expressing concern over playing USF. Thats probably why their fans were such jerks to USF fans down there. They were scared. this could be huge. and we benifit off of each other with attendance increases for both teams.

    i was talking to my coworkers at publix today and i asked if you had the choice of having reggie bush or caddillac williams as your starting running back next year,who would you choose? They all answered Bush. ok. My counter argument was that while Bush is great and all, he has never played an NFL game. We've only seen him play college ball. On the other hand, Cadillac has shown the NFL he can play and in just one year has broken NFL records and won rookie of the year. yet they still insist that Bush must be a better back.

    this may be a dumb question but.... Why should USF have to pay to play in it at all? Do the Bucs pay? I thought RJS belonged to the city of Tampa/tax payers? that money is being wasted when it could be used for an OCS instead...in the long run it would be worth it.

    I hope and believe that Andre Hall with earn a spot here in Tampa...and I hope and believe he will bring that kickoff back for a touchdown. And then in the next couple years I hope that he can replace pittman and grahm and take over as the solid number two back and get a good 5-10 carries a game to help keep gruden from running the crap out of caddy. and he sure looks good as a buc... ;D
