  1. ......here we go again, i can hear it now..."if howard weren't hurt", "if granberry were available a whole year"..."if cann played the whole year"...and we still suck and are hoping we have TWO BE wins by Gasparilla 2007, versus ONE BE win by Gasparilla 2006. Poor Mac, besieged by the injury bug again........waiter, large cup of kool aid for me and my associates, please.
  2. Be glad to be wrong, but i don't think that last year at this time we were saying "frane is a slug" "richardson is no good" "we knew cann was going to be hurt" "sills will never play". the proof is in the play, but all those warm bodies need to materialize, after qualifying. nothing is a given, as we all know. and by the way, if i have to eat crow, i hope u mac-ers save me some of that extra special koolaid to enjoy with my **** sandwich.
  3. simple point being is that CRM dealt himself the cards - he recruits, he staffs the team. injuries hit everyone, all the time, build a team that does not need all the stars and moons to be aligned to be competitive. i'm sorry, look at frane, richardson, THESE ARE MAC'S GUYS AND THEY CAN'T EVEN GET ON THE FLOOR! i'm not talking national championship, i'm talking about winning a few games, even with the injuries. almost dinner time, boyz, time for all of you in the mac fan club to take a loooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooong drink of the koolaid....hmmmmmmmmmmmmm, hmmmmmmmmmm!
  4. Knight boy, In case your memory has faded.. SCHEDULE DateOpponentTime/Result Sep 1@South Carolina Lost 15-24 Sep 17@South Florida Lost 14-31 Sep 24Marshall Won 23-13 Oct 1@La.-Lafayette Won 24-21 Go back to the JV.
  5. Wow, drink up on the kool aid, boys, we're getting close to WINNING ONE FREAKING GAME! we're not talking about a winning record, winning the conference, getting to the tournament, or competing for a national championship, we're hanging our freaking aspirations on WINNING ONE FREAKING CONFERENCE GAME?!! Shoot higher, boys, or that arrow is going to hit us in the foot.
  6. ****, how did my wife find out i was on here? I thought I was allowed some independent thought when she wasn't around????? The players, indeed, played their hearts out, they deserve medals of valor. But mac, he deserves a copy of the home game.
  7. nova played hard, our boys played harder. u have to give it to them, they lay it on the line. having said that, don't confuse the coaches with the players. the players should be praised until their last minute, for proudly carrying the bulls flag on our behalf. conversely, the staff should be vilified for their poor recruiting and roster management. it's like saying the GM can be separated from the coach's performance. in this case, our GM is our coach and Mac, as the GM must be fired for putting Mac the coach in such a poor position. The jobs are inseparable, and Mac cannot do them. Recruiting + Game Management +/- Luck = Wins and Losses. Give Mac an F for recruiting, a B for game management, and no one can take blame or credit for luck. He must go.
  8. ugh..holmes misses open 3 with 5 seconds to go. bulls down 2, nova on the line...turn out the liiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiights....
  9. I saw hiram green putting on some shorts on the sideline.....
  10. bummer...hey, maybe listen to the lightning spank the panthers tonight, instead? ;D
  11. go to the nova link, hit it. go to the espn 360, then go to the left and double click on the game. no luck? i don't have verizon in tampa ( i thought it was isp dependent, myself) and it worked. good luck!
  12. Rock on, thanx for the tip! Everyone got the script on this one? Mac's boyz keep it close early, get worn down by lack of depth, foul problems, lose by double digits. Paper reads, "Big Effort By Bulls Falls Short"....
  13. Nova 14 Holmes 18 Mattis 9 65% Keep up the good work, MAC!
  14. S Hall 13 Holmes 11 Jones 11 61% ANOTHER GREAT WEEK MAC!!!
  15. Georgetown 19 Mattis 13 Jones 9 62% KEEP UP THE FINE JOB, MAC!!!
  16. You can't be optimistic about this POS...it's the titanic without the water. all these guys, barring Curry, are longshots or retreads. Common life management skills have each of us blending in A SINGLE longshot now and then with more conservative positions, for a more manageable risk-based portfolio. Consistently COUNTING ON longshots, retreads and mid-years guarantees failure. If there are any betting folks out there, very simply would you bet ON or AGAINST old Mac. Easy choice. AGAINST. period. end of report.......
  17. I was in texas with Morsani's group the day he got jobbed by MLB.  when Ueberroth called to tell him "no thanks", when he had the Rangers wrapped up in a bow to be delivered to Tampa Bay, I learned a lot about what being a classy business man was like....on the other hand, i learned a lot about how shirrrty and brutal business  was in the real world....later to top off the day's education at Lace in Fort Worth, at the Billy Martin Table.......aaaaahhhhhhhhhhhh. Tip of the Tampa Bay Baseball Group hat to Mr.Morsani!
  18. Such high aspirations...our new hoops marketing slogan should be "USF Hoops, we might be short, but we're slow...."
  19. the cuse 25 Buckley 15 Jones 10 71% ......and the beat goes on...........
  20. UAB 28 Holmes 15 Jones 8 53% Given the impending Big East phalanx heading our way, another potential contest could be guess the number of BE wins USF will have. Given the high likelihood that this contest would end in a multi, multi-way tie (at 0 wins), the tie breaker could be the number of walk-ons on the roster at the end of the season. Just trying to help create some buzzzzzzz for CRM's exciting squad. Respectfully submitted...
