Free Ari Hinkelberger! Why not? Who has evidence against him to warrant his being banned? I personally don't agree with firing CRM but so what. I prefer graduating players and preparing them for life instead of just next weeks game.

Very well stated Mr. FazaUSF. I concur, and with that I believe our side the victor of this debate.

I want a bunch of Peyton Manning and Marvin Harrsion type of guys on and off the field. Guys who apprieciate and understand the role they have as players and representatives of our community on and off the field. That's one reason we rally behind our team isn't it, because they are an extension of something bigger... Community. I also want a coach like Tony Dungy who instills dicsipline and dedication into his players. Who encourages virtue and character and not just victories on the field. The majority of USF football fans, as observed by myself at home games, don't relate to the hip hop culture. Why is it asking to much to expect our players, in every sport, to want to represent the USF community in such a way that the majority of us can relate to. Image is everything to many. And many of us aren't happy with the image some USF athletes, particularly football athletes, are conveying.

CL can't deliver discipline on the field, why should we expect him to encourage discipline and or stand up character in his guys off the court? CL is building a quality football program fast, but the same can't be said for the quality of players. IMHO

As bad as PJ was this year, if we had something in the "cupboard" that was better, the coaches should've/would've used him right? Why not? These freshmen we have couldn't have hurt us any worse. I don't care how good our team is we need a qb that's not going to screw things up for us like pj and denson did. I'm not so optimistic because our coaches continued to play pj throughout the year which suggests to me pj was the best we had at the time. Or our coaches don't know what they're doing. Whichever the case things don't look that promising in the qb department.

Well said Ruben, I'v often told my friends and acquaintances the same thing, "we're a small cap stock with huge growth rates." I agree we have great potential, but I'm not so sure even we know how good this team really is. I guess we're 6-5 good. We certainly would have been better with a more productive qb though.

 I normally agree with "The People's Champ", but not this time my friend.  Although we share some obvious similarities with UCF, those similarities in and of themselves don't by necessity make for a legitimate rivalry.  Athletically, USF's football program is on rise.  And, although at this point in time there may be some strong parallels between the two programs (for example we're both playing in our first bowl game this year) I see these parallels as temporary.  Because of our University administrations obvious commitment to athletic excellence, as seen in our programs unparalled climb, it must be concluded that our program is destined for greatness.   At the rate we are progressing, in 5 to 10 years I believe USF will be annual contenders for a national championship, if not sooner.  UCF has had a significant head start and already we're passing them bye, USF's days of being compared with UCF will be short lived in my view.  Soon, USF will be in new company.
