  1. Just got back from two very hot days of 7 on 7, and can't say enough about the job USF does...teams from all over the state and GA as well...first rate, but Skip "skipping" doesn't send a good message..
  2. Glad to see Skip being called out here...the most talent-rich event in the nation, and he's a no-show... hard to justify, no matter how you slice it.
  3. Actually - I started a thread on this kid in October of last year (full disclosure: this is my son's high school team, soI know these players well!) People may question the competetion level, but this kid is a legit D1 player. Much of that highlight video is against Admiral Farragut HS, which was loaded with talent themsleves - RD5 had a career day - on offense, defense and on special teams too...would love to see the Bulls at least show some interest...many others have. The kid has been a fixture on campus for the sling & shoots and the Gruden QB specials (several CDS players have participated over the past couple of years). There is a lot of talent at some of these small private schools, and I beleive they can turn out some gems...just need to know where to look!
  4. I watch the marcus dupree one every time its on...i cant look away...
  5. There are two big man camps this year...june 16 & 17, and again on july 21 & 22. My son attended last year's camp, and is slated for the july session...these sessions coincide with the two sling and shoot tourneys. Lots of talent to be seen during during those two weekends... The big man camp, by the way, was excellent last year. High intensity and a lot of serious prospects...expect the same if not more this time around.
  6. Teams will typically carry 5 RBs...
  7. OK - that's a source - thanks for the clarity...interesting word choice for the string title
  8. Until Flip names his sources, stop the thanks and start the blame. As I said, "Weak"
  9. To quote Kip Dynamite: "Yeah, it's pretty cool, I guess"...
  10. Is flip setting the record straight or starting a childish rumor? Name your source, man, so we can decide.
  11. The better team always wins - playing an actual game is how that's theory is proved!
  12. let me see if I have this straight: express dissatisfaction for a poor product, and you are "whining and ********". Accept a poor porduct and you are a true supporter...riiigght...hmmm...sign me up for the whining/******** section please...and make it fast!
  13. You're right - a lame duck coach won't help recruiting...firing him at this point probabaly wouldn't help either though...Its a shame that these are the questions that have to be discussed...
  14. In my mind, the issue is now with wWolard - or will be by March (a mid-season coaching change won't accomplish anything, and would only hurt recruiting). The fact that its time to fire Mac is a given, now its time to let the AD earn his keep.
  15. For the fans on the board who do not think its time to move on/move in a new direction (or whatever sugar coating that they find least objectionable), please tell me what WOULD justify firing the exisiting coach?
  16. Tampa Bay needs help at every position on defense...could be a good fit with the Bucs, and something of a homecoming for the local boy
  17. I know this may have come up before (maybe on the recruiting board), but what's the story with Kalvin Bailey (I think that was his name!) out of Armwood HS? I heard he requested a transfer from Iowa...any idea of who the frontrunners are for his services?
  18. Jenkins should stay - teams will not hesitate to release a late round pick who has been performing at a "marginal" level. The same performance from an early round pick will stay on based on "potential". Bouncing from practice squad to practice squad is a reality. Just look at Andre Hall. He was considered a top 10 RB by some, and look at the rough road he has faced.
