  1. If we do e-mail, please take the time to use spell check.  I don't want to seem obsessed, but we are representing our school and the spelling and grammer here haven't always been, shall we say, stellar. ;D Let's show out and thank them.
  2. I don't live in Hillsborough County, but didn't y'all help pay for the stadium?  I seem to remember a tax referendum or something years ago and seem to remember that it would profit the Glasers handsomely.  I would think (if my recollection is accurate) that there should be some return for the public ponying up the money.  And that could take the form of painting the field for us.  Five grand is petty cash for the Bucs.  They probably spend that much on Gatoraide. Anyway, it would be a cheap way to give back to the community that helped make the stadium possible.
  3. I was just reading all the other polls posted on the board. It is amazing how they vary. Just show to go ya -- they don't mean squat. That is, unless they are favorable to us and then I will swear by them ;D
  4. 1)  The winner -- USF 2)  The final score -- 17 - 6 3)  Bulls total offensive yards -- 305 4)  Bulls leading receiver -- Jackson
  5. This is great! We are in the best position we could be. Look -- What's the big hairy deal when a well known, long traditioned school wins? What, is it noteworthy? No. But we are getting no respect (actually the appropriate respect is purposely being withheld). We will NEVER again have the opportunity to shove it up their...noses. After this season, we will be a known school with a rep to live up to. Right now, we have it sweet. No one expects us to do anything and when we do, they refuse to give us props. That gives us the unique opportunity to be giant killers, Cinderellas, whatever. I'm loving it. Call us skunks, try and keep us out of the club. I don't care, it just makes us look better when we punch them in the face and take their lunch money. We know what we have and we believe in it. Now it is time to smack some people upside the head and grab their attention. I'm sorry, but we are Florida Boys and we don't do things nice. We won't wait in line and sit quietly. I say let's put the dogs on them. Skunks, huh? I got your skunk...
  6. Seems like everytime I come to this board, I find something new to get excited about.  Of course, it doesn't hurt that I just found the link to photos of the cheerleaders and Sun Dolls...
  7. So someone outside of Tamp thinks we are underrated?  Give that person a Pulitzer! It is time someone had the..uh...fortitude to admit in print what we have known.  But as has been said many times here--it is up to us to prove it to the world.  Respect cannot be demanded, it must be earned. Still, I credit the writer with more integrity than the ESPN bozos who would love to see us fall on our butts.
  8. 1)  The winner -- Da Bulls! 2)  The final score -- 27-17 3)  Bulls total offensive yards -- 387 4)  Bulls leading receiver -- A. Hall
  9. for USF with his forty yard run in the third quarter.  Congrats, Andre.  You do us proud!
  10. 1)  The winner -- USF 2)  The final score -- 37-13 3)  Bulls total offensive yards -- 420 4)  Bulls leading receiver -- Peyton
  11. REF:  Everyone is still looking at you. Coach:  Thank God they can't see me -- I have my eyes closed.
  12. Great article! I was impressed on a lot of planes bout this game. Julmiste got it together in both passing and rushing. That was great to see. Our offense was not one dimensional this time. I would criticize the play calling, but I will wait until I am better than a coach who gets paid for calling plays. Until then I will learn. I thought that this game would be much closer and even feared that we would lose handily, but I am also impressed with the knowledge of most of the other posters here who accurately predicted the outcome and can analyze our and other teams intelligently. Until I can do that also, I will learn. I graduated in 1994, when I was 39, so I am a lot older than most who post here. I really didn't want a football team because USF's reputation was being built solely on academics. We have some of the best programs in the nation and that not only makes me very proud, but adds value to my diploma. But I have to tell you, since this team started nine years ago I am riveted to the screen or my seat at ray jay. I am so proud of my team and university. I graduated with an MS from UCF, but they are not even on my radar screen. USF used to be a sleeper university. We knew we had something, but nobody would listen. We knew that we would someday be THE premier university in Florida, but we got laughed at for that belief. There are less people laughing now and more believing. Our football team is putting us on the map faster than the team from any other university. Credit needs to go to Jim Leavitt for building a Cinderella team from what was once considered a commuter university. Credit also needs to go to you fans -- those whose knowledge of the game baffles me (how do you acquire so much knowledge?) -- and those whose faith in this team will not ebb and flow with victory and defeat. My hat is off to the coaching staff, the team, its fans and the administration who had the foresight to know that the time was right for football at USF. We have a great future ahead of us and it is with pride that I tell people that I graduated from USF.
  13. 1)  The winner  --  USF 2)  The final score -- 21 to 17 3)  Bulls total offensive yards -- 325 4)  Bulls leading receiver -- A. Hall
  14. Biggest Rival -- S. Mississippi. Didn't want us in the C-USA, huh? Who loves ya, baby! Biggest Conference Rival -- Pitt. L'ville is a good choice, but I believe that we wanted Pitt's butt more because of the series. I don't think most people believed that we would beat L'ville, so it was sweet, but the animosity wasn't there. UCF? Gimme a break. Aim high (I was in the Air Force).
  15. A bunch of us will be at the Embassy Suites at the Miami Airport. Something is being put on at the stadium by the Alumni Assoc, but you had to rsvp, I believe. I am leaving in 18 minutes to go down there. I can't wait. It is like Christmas in October! GO BULLS!!!!!!!!! ;D
  16. I might need them. I will know tomorrow. e-mail me your telephone number at abbadad@catholic.org and tell me where you are. Thanks. I am doing a last minute thing here.
  17. And what is the Canes' injury report? I thought they were missing some of their key players.
  18. USF 13-10 280 Peyton I think it will be lower scoring this time.
  19. Please forgive my ignorance (after my BA from USF, I got an MS from Central Florida) but my wife just suggested that we go down for the game (YAY!!). This was out of the blue. I have never been to an away game and on such short notice. Do I go to ticketmaster? I saw someone got their hotel on Priceline. Is there a bus going down from Tampa? Future season ticket holder here needing some guidance. This is the first season that I have allowed myself to attend games due to focusing on grad school, but I ready to make up for all that sacrifice. HELP, I want this to happen. ???
  20. Southern Miss is #50. I love it! We are ranked higher than Michigan, Nebraska, and some other names I didn't expect. ;D
  21. I'll bet they get a real USF helmet to put thier stickers on instead of the generic gold one they used tonight! Maybe Levitt should send them one.
