as a USF fan I hope we have a great season. What I dont want is just enough improvement to keep the Mac era going.  (2-4 Big East wins) If he gets 6 or more wins in Conference I will agree that we should keep him around another year. Just improvement should not cut it? Can we do any worse than last year? We could if we really tried...I am reserving judgement on everything until conference play but with everyones logic on here Coach Fernandez should be fired b/c we lost to Michigan State b/c we had a ton of turnovers. Come on people I know everyone wants to blam coach mac for everthing but sometimes you cant put an off night fom the floor on him. If you have played basketball before you should know that some nights shots just are not falling. I think that was the case tonight but if it does not get better then you all deserve to talk but until then give the TEAM a chance.

These ECU fans are funny...they talk about us losing to cincy and Kansas when they lost to teams such as UAB (which UCF even beat) but I do give them credit they beat teams like Navy and NC State which are pretty decent and played W. VA pretty close. I still think that if USF plays to their potential we wil demolish ECU.

I agree with most everything everyone has said. Rod Smith has some good weeks and some bad weeks. It seems that this year his bad weeks have not been as bad as last years bad weeks. I also agree that he needs to learn how to adjust the game plan but he is young and still learning th position. He has shown some promise so far this year.

no doubt having the right QB to run the spread is important but he has done a good job this year. and yes the OC gets blamed first see FSU

It is great to see how much coach Rod Smith has improved since last year. In the offseason I thought that Rod was not going to turn out to be a good OC but he has proved me wrong. The plays that he has called this year has been great most games. He has mixed in the right amount of trick plays with basic plays. I am glad that USF did not make a bad decision a let him go at the end of the year. A good OC is hard to find but it is clear that Rod Smith is on his way to becoming a good one. GO BULLS!

the bowing was very disrespetful in my opinion. THe way they did it it is something they do every game. It seemed like everyone was just in shock when they did it. It was one of those what the hell moments. I have never seen it done by any team before
