He spells out his reasoning pretty clearly and it's not absurd (even if I don't agree with it).
Calling him a POS seems a little extreme

Northern Illinois has improved a great deal since we pounded into the ground. That said, they gifted SDSU a ton of points.
SDSU isn't that good. Solid team, no doubt. And they have a good RB with a nice ground game.
But these guys are pretenders. They will go down soon enough. I bet UNLV at home is going to give them all they can handle. If they fall behind, it's tough for them to catch up; they really don't have a big passing game.
If we had played the schedule they had, and had the wins they had, and someone said this about us, there would be a 20 page thread talking about how dumb they are.
SDSU's resume is better than ours right now. They run the table there s a very good shot they get the NY6 nod over us.
On a side note. We've beaten up a bunch of bottom feeders, and our passing game hasn't looked all that awesome either.

Re: Lightning. Went to a game last year. Got 2 lower level seats for $20 each on the street. Upper level (300s) were very empty.

You guys are being babies. Keep winning and we'll be fine. Why so upset about 5 opinions?

Have you seen SDSU play...they aren't that good.
This is what I'm getting at. (Not just our fans) but a fanbase is going to spin the poll to meet their own arguments.
Again, who have we played that makes you believe we should be a top 20 team?
SDSU has two power 5 wins, one over a team that many feel is a legit top 25 team. Plus a road win over an Air Force team that gave Michigan all they could handle. They a legit argument to not over be above us, but above several P5 opponents.
Are they that good? Are we that good? That's why you play out the season and not lose your **** because a week 4 poll isn't how you want it

No it won't. The anti-G5 prejudice is ingrained in the culture.
I don't get what you want then.
Our ceiling is the NY6 bowl.
Had any other team P5 or G5 been in our position, with the schedule we've played many would have issues with our current ranking.
SDSU has a legit gripe. Us, let's wait

. We are judged by different standards. We have to play a perfect 60 minutes and eradicate our weak opposition to get any national respect.
No. Once we play an opponent with. Pulse all this riff raff will slow down.

Something I’ve noticed lately is AP voters defending their ranking or unranking of us by how lightly we’re beating teams we’re supposed to be dominating. Both Florida and SDSU struggled against unranked teams this week while we almost shut out an inferior opponent. Will there be another excuse or will things play out better for us?
I think their issue is how light our schedule is. None of the teams we've played will be in bowl games (Temple might, but it will be a grind)

Agree primary goal is win conference with that the rankings will come.
I am under no illusion that this team has any shot at getting into the playoffs as they stand in current form.
I would like us get a shot vs UF in a big bowl game.Yeah, any dream of the playoff is exactly that, a dream

They (fsu) has lost to two team and won NONE. Ranked ? And they will be on their 3rd QB, no way their 169 lbs QB will last with their OL.
UF has beat (barely) two solid teams, but TENN barely beat UMass.
Go BULLS !!!
Yeah FSU and Florida could have rolled through 2-3 cupcakes and been near the top 10 right now.
You have to give them credit for scheduling hard. Just as we have asked for credit for that in the past.
Tennessee did beat Georgia Tech, for what it's worth.
Rolling back to FSU, they shouldn't be ranked. I just think they'll be fine and be rolling come November. They lost their best player and were starting a true freshman against one of the best front 7s in college football

There is no way that anybody that watched the FSU or UF games can objectively rank either of those teams in the top 25.
FSU, agreed...I still think they are a top 25 team though. But their resume doesn't warrant it. Come November they'll probably be rolling.
UF, they beat two solid teams and lost to a top 10 team. I don't have an issue with it.

Pump the brakes. They're good, but it's still Maryland.
As far as Frost. He's gone to Nebraska by December.

We've played ****. FSU had a really bad loss yesterday, but they still crushed us last year.

Let's face it tampa is not a college football town at least compared to Gainesville or Tallahassee. The 4 years we really sucked killed the attendance and it will take years of winning to get the fans back. Now getting into a p5 conference would definitely help but we really need to keep winning to get the fans back. The best case scenario for us is to run the table and have Memphis run the table and play them in the conference title. Both teams would be ranked in the top 20 possibly 15 and if host that game the attendance will be good for that game possibly above 50k
This is crap. Tampa has some of the highest TV ratings in college football.

No shot. Even if they both have a loss a piece, they've got that weekend set for Penn State-Ohio state.
-
I've learned over my years on this board that many on here want a DPK news media slant towards USF when watching the games.
As far as Galloway's shirt. Wife and Inwere convinced his zipper must have broke

It's some crazy computer analytics that creates those numbers. Houston and UCF have small sample sizes. Relax.

Flowers has never been very accurate...however, his receivers have always fixed that issue. Not this year.

Choose between a national recognition or normal Saturday attendence. You can't have both at this level.
Everyone has.
There is no choice. It's in the television contract that pays us money. They say we play a Thursday, we play Thursday.

They moved the ball against Notre Dame just made mistakes
Most of it came late. I watched that game. I'm still not sold on this defense, we'll see in four weeks when we see a real team.
-
Not to be a ****, but Temples offense struggled to move the ball against Nova and UMass.
-
This isn't a good look. We could legitimately build a 30k seat stadium and be fine.

They got worked by Notre Dame and needed a late score to beat Villanova. They might be on par with Illinois.
If we're as good as we think we should be this shouldn't be close.

I love McMurphy's amazing troll job.
