  1. Hey...2 of my friends Tyler and Niles (fellow USF students) are in need of rides to B'ham. Neither of their cars can make it and both are pretty bummed about it since they both went to Charlotte last year and had a great time. They're nice, honest people I can assure you, and both will pay their share of gas money. Tyler contacted me to see if I knew anyone with some extra room in their cars so I thought I'd get the word out and see. You can pm me, AIM me at chicky9914 or email me at chicky9915@hotmail.com and I'll put you guys in touch! Thanks a bunch! -Jenna
  2. Yeah we're taking a bus. There are 2 groups of cheerleaders going up on 2 different days. Those who are competing at nationals won't leave until the afternoon before the game, and those who aren't competing will be leaving the 21st in the am, and should be there by 8pm that night.
  3. Bulls fans yell at me when I'm driving in uniform...oh yeah, maybe that's why then! lol
  4. Do you guys just think athletics has money floating around, growing on trees? I wear the same cheerleading uniform to games 2 and 3 times in a week!
  5. I agree about contacting graduates. For instance I graduate in May. I would like to see a letter/postcard from the alumni association and in it/attached to it, a form about usf season tickets.
  6. 1. Most Pleasant Suprise of the 2006 Regular Season? GROTHE!! I didn't know much about him before, and I'm not gonna lie- I was real worried about our offense when Andre Hall left last year. Grothe was stellar! 2. Biggest Disappointment of the 2006 Regular Season? THE DISCIPLINARY ISSUES! But I felt they were handled well and the team was able to recover from them. Hopefully the guys all learned their lessons too. 3. Best Memory of the 2006 Regular Season? Knocking off WVU! And they said it couldn't be done 4. Worst Memory of the 2006 Regular Season? Cincy no doubt. That was the night I hurt my ankle too, so I was screaming for multiple reasons. 5. Do you plan to upgrade your tix or donation within the next 5-10 years? Yes, since I'll be a college graduate (May wahoo!). I have not ordered my season tix yet because I'm not sure where I'll be moving to and working. I still plan on attending as many games as possible, home or away. A few of the senior cheerleaders including myself have talked about going out to Auburn next year for the game
  7. 3.....cuz I have a little bit of OCD when it comes to the #3. Always seem to do things in sets of 3 and it's always been my lucky number. Plus, "3rd time's a charm" always seems to work well
  8. LOL I agree on this, but at the same time, I Jenna L. Mitcheson am guilty of this on one occassion I slept through my alarm and woke up at 9:40 for a 10:00 class that my professor has a zero-tardiness policy and it takes a good 20 minutes to find a parking spot for. I simply got up, brushed my teeth, and headed to class in my pajamas. It wasn't until class got out and one of my classmates drew my attention to it- I was wearing a U of L football sweatshirt (my bf's) that I had fallen asleep in the night before...needless to say, I felt pretty silly, especially when I honked and yelled at a guy outside the rec center just THE DAY BEFORE for wearing a WVU shirt LOL! "Hey they're in our conference, and we just beat them! What are you thinking?!"
  9. hmm maybe I should do a little story on that...go into their offices with the camera and ask for some numbers..."Reporting from Tampa, I'm Jenna Laine, the Bullspen.com" =)
  10. Since I can barely make out some of the helmets, it's a bit enigmatic for me. Uh time to go get the eyes checked again! lol
  11. That's one of the reasons I love our program so much. Even in the early days Leavitt had the balls to schedule the big dogs. He realized that the only way you can become the best is to play the best, even if it means losing in the beginning because at least it can be used as a learning experience.
  12. haha I was just gonna post this! Glad somebody beat me to it though...looks like they're getting it together and it's nice to see them putting some of the city's historical stuff into the mix, since a great deal of the civil rights movement took place in Birmingham.
  13. They want to be in a class with the big dogs and make it the "big 5"...??? I don't think so! =) Yeah lets just do some rearranging on our schedule and play the Gators! LOL WE AINT SCURRED!! (wish scheduling was that easy)
  14. Yes and I'm going to win an Olympic gold medal and be the next Oprah Winfrey??? hmmm...
  15. Just wanted to thank you Bulls out there who kindly voted fo Art...he won tonight! Groza baby!! My boyfriend can now officially say he snapped for a Groza winner. So thank you guys for supporting my friend, and the Big East. Now I gotta get those Cards fans to vote for us in the Pontiac Game Changing Performance =)
  16. Matt was such an excellent Rocky and really helped set the standard for the younger guys who suit up at the games now. Actually at UCA Spirit Camp this summer (the mascots go up and participate in their own camp while the cheerleaders have theirs) they received the most prestigious award you can get "Most Collegiate." Matt's leadership and attitude was a HUGE part in that! We're all really proud of him!
  17. Maybe students were afraid some idiot frat boy was going to purchase all the tickets again and therefore ruin it for everyone, hence why bother waiting in line like that, losing sleep, getting a cold, etc etc
  18. Thanks for the info! None of my teammates had heard from her, so I appreciate that update!! Thank you!
  19. Thanks guys....yeah actually Matt's gonna get his boys to vote for us in the Pontiac Game Changing Performance as well!
  20. Hey guys... My dear friend Arthur Carmody of the Louisville Cards is one of 3 finalists for the Lou Groza Award and I would sooo greatly appreciate if you guys could vote for him. It would be a dream come true for my Matt to have his best friend and kicker win this award. Art is the only kicker in this category from the Big East, so please help support!! You can vote for him here...THANKS!!!!!! http://sports.espn.go.com/chat/sportsnation/story?id=2677557
  21. Okay so Jim- I know your predictions had Louisville in the Orange...that still what you're thinking? I gotta make my travel reservations for whatever bowl they go to now as well! lol
