  1. I will say overall the improvements far outweight these negatives
  2. I completely agree with the 200 level planning above the club... I bought in front row of 203 and to get there you have to climb to 300s and down----really not that well designed, there has to be some way to remedy that disaster, it was horrible for the game....However I am just moving my seats.... As far as buying lower level sides or club, I am/was told they are sold out so it is not a me being cheap issue, I tried to buy the best seats available to me at the time. Also the railings at the end of the stairs obstruct a lot of decent seats in the 200s. I am surprised that these issues weren't thought out a bit better.
  3. The way I see it and/or rationalize it is that Skip has BJ as his QB, is not his type of QB and doesn't know how to maximize his potential. Once he has his QB no excuses. One could argue he has had a few years to get his QB in there. I have not been the biggest fan of the BJ years.... But nothing beats a good BJ
  4. I agree on all points. I have 6 club seats at $45 each plus $1k donation. And someone can sit next to me for $15.... awesome Go Bulls
  5. glad to have 6 club seats where everyone can stroll into, many seats are vacant and many are uninterested in the game, coupled with horrible loss. #Great money spent
  6. I Heard it. Hopefully they don't burn the biscuits again (or the whole house for that matter).
  7. Who went after him?: These boards were a weekly Alvarado torch fest, even when he had a good week. Some fans always need someone to complain about. True, but that kids reaction was priceless
  8. I thought his raps were some of his best contributions. G to the R-O-T-H-E, it's Matt Grothe on the pitch can't you see? Still a tailgate favorite
  9. Embassy SUites on Westshore is usually a good deal. Within 2 miles to staidum, free breakfast and happy hour near international plaza, pool, etc. Thats where I put out of town guests that come for games
  10. 1) This year 2) Not this one: <iframe width="640" height="360" src="http://www.youtube.com/embed/kfsOIna4i-s?feature=player_detailpage" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen></iframe> 3) Webster at ND 4) 30k 5) Dinner
  11. Had my appointment late Friday - lower sidelines are scattered singles only and only 2 or 3 scattered singles in the club level. Ended up with front row in 213 so I can watch everyone in club that got better tickets than me. Should be good crowds, hope everyone uses the lowers. 200 levels and baseline have a lot of availability. One concern I saw checking out seats is that seats near the stairs in 1st few rows in 200s are obstructed view--pretty poorly designed as these seats would have been great seats without the obstructions---amazing this happens when you spend that much money to refurbish. Also got women's floor seats--should be interesting.
  12. I went in this afternoon- has some good deals. a lot of small, medium and xxl+ sizes on good stuff. You can get your BJ jersey if you want it - cheap.
  13. Anyone know the latest on lower levels---have my appointment Friday afternoon.
  14. TripleB- I was there until 02 and aside from a 97 game against FSU and the big UF game students never showed up. Its a shame since so many live on campus too.
  15. BTW, how do i change my status as freshman to alumni?? thanks
  16. I agree that we are in the process of building a tradition. I believe that in order to be successful there must be more fans at games (including students) to establish a home court/field advantage. Its pretty ridiculous looking at attendance numbers in comparison with the number of students that currently attend USF, and the number of alumni in the area. And the excuse about the large number of commuters is a cop out. I love the Bulls, and when I was a student I went to almost every game. If we establish a following and home court advantage then the team will improve and a tradition will be established. Think of how a recruit feels when they show up to watch a game and the stands are close to empty. As far as moving games to the SPT Forum, that is the worst idea I have heard. It will disconnect the team from the students on campus and be more of a neutral arena, because we all know there are a lot of fair weather fans in the area that will go to root for the UCONNs of the world. The best way to build the program is by attention and a fan following. This means attendance and coverage in the local media (Thanks for writing on them Nick). Obviously our hopes and dreams are a National Championship, but that is a going to take time. What we need is to do is represent during nationally televised games, with some upsets and a strong presence in the stands. Once the national attention grows, fans grow, and recruits will be more interested. Out
