I caught this in the Gator Championship section of the St. Pete TImes.  It's no wonder all of our students are wearing Gator stuff.  THEY CAN GET IT AT OUR OWN BULLS STORES!!  This is the most out to earn a buck ridiculous thing I have ever seen.  The thought of a Bucs section, all of that beautiful Bulls stuff and then a Gator NC rack is sickening.  Sorry for my anger, but I have been fighting off the gators stuff all week and now this???  Why don't we just change our name to UF in the S?? > > > > > > > > > >  -A Very Unhappy GURLY

I was really worried about seeing a ton of Gators stuff on campus today, so I counted Bulls gear vs Gator gear on campus..and while we don't know if we could beat them in a game, we sure kicked their butts today! Bulls Items- 83 ;D ;D ;D Gator Items- 9 OSU items- 1 Now, I was only on campus for about an hour and a half, but I was so excited at the lack of Gator Gear. If they win, it might be a different story, but for now, I am very proud!! I gave all of those people lots of crap about their gear so hopefully we will see them in some green and gold soon!! I just spoke with Mr. Louk from Athletics and the following changes will be in effect for the rest of the season! Entry 1, the student entry, will be open from now on. Students may enter from Entry 1 or Entry 3 and recieve students tickets! Section L1 directly across from the men's student section will now be General Admission for students only. They are still working on where the overflow for big games will go to, but it will either be K or behind the basket. These changes will prevent anyone from purchasing seats where students are sitting. I credit the Athletics Department and Sundome staff with making such quick changes and for making the students a priority. It is our job now to show how much these games mean to us and show up and fill Section L!! If you are a student, GO TO ENTRY 1, OUR ENTRANCE!! Again, thanks to everyone who helped with this issue! GO BULLS!! SEE YOU SATURDAY!!! -Gurly

No, I guarantee it won't be like that. They like having the students in the game. If you compare where we are for men's and womens, the atmosphere is totally different. Size of the crowd is not the only thing that does this, it is where the students are... -Gurly

No, its different for Mens and Womens games...which is why we are trying to get it to a universal system. It is not a winter break thing, its a womens games thing... -Gurly

SEE NEW SEATING POLICY****

Apparently this has been the policy all year long. WE, the students, are supposed to have assigned seats in Section L. (Note: We were in section k, section L is the middle section.) This is the first game all year where there have been enough people to where they realized we were in the wrong place. I know for a fact that half of the people in Section L are not students and that MOST people who come to those games sit wherever they want to in the arena. Be it K, L or whatever. The ONLY area they are super strict on is the floor seats. When I talked to AD Woolard and Tom Veit, they told me they were under the impression that there was supposed to be General Admission for the students in a certain area. They also thought the student entry was supposed to be open. SO clearly, there is some confusion about where we are supposed to be. I was pissed because I got there early to get my seats and then was forced to move at HALFTIME, because someone had JUST gotten there and "bought" the seat I was in. Let alone the fact that they sat there silent the ENTIRE second half. Plus, my "assigned" seat was in row 5 and some students got there at halftime and recieved row 2. The students are so important to the game and this was easily the highest attendance from the students we have had all year and this is how they are treated?? It's hard to encourage my fellow students to get excited about womens basketball when this is how we are treated. It is being taken care of though because I have spoken to the ones who make these decisions and it is being handled. I will post updates as I get them, but rest assured, they won't treat me like that again.... -Gurly

That would be Zimmerman Advertising and it is the largest in the Southeast and 17th in the nation.  Jordan Zimmerman owns the Panthers and the Bank Atlantic Center and holds the account for the Miami Dolphins. He is a huge USF supporter and just gave $1 million to our Communications Department to bring a new program to USF.  He is a marketing genius and also my future employer.  He is doing good things for our community.  -Gurly

I just wanted to say thank you to all of the fans who made it out to the Bowl Game and to all of those fans who supported from where they could. I can honestly say that this game was probably the most fun I have ever had at a Bulls Game! This was the most wonderful weekend and I am SO PROUD to be a BULL!! The team was AMAZING and the comradery was very special to me! I love you all!! GOOOOO BULLS!!!! -GUrly

Haha, I grew up in Tennessee and I must admit I have a love for the VOLS!  However, they are still NUMBER 2!!  I am especially excited because I have family members flying down to go to the game with us so it will be a big reunion.  I actually had 46 yard line front row tickets to the UF-Tenn game in the swamp last season (which is gold if you are a fan of either team) and I gave them up to attend the first USF-UCF game!!  So, if that doesnt describe my passion for the Bulls, nothing will.  It did hurt though, I won't lie!!  Since I moved to Florida, I haven't gotten to see the Vols play, so it is special for me to be able to host my family and see the Vols play in my town.  I can't wait to show them USF and my city!  That's why I am so excited!   -Gurly
