    I was at the conference, and Leavitt was fired up!  One of the best segments of the conference is linked below in MP3 format... LOVE the enthusiasm at the end. BW

    Leavitt and Co. departed around 6, and the place started to clear out a bit. I got there with my family at 5:00, and it was packed. Was seated in an overflow section behind the speakers because there wasn't a table to be had in the whole place. Excellent turnout!

    There hasn't been one yet. I still have all the contributions in my PayPal account, and am waiting for a few who wanted to send checks to do so. I think we decided we want to do something special for him, but we were waiting for word from Vicki M at USF for what would be appropriate. I've been gone for a bit, so if I missed something, someone please fill me in. Matt

    Sorry to have gone missing. Been pretty ill the last few weeks, and it's going around the family. Anyhow, if you still want to donate via check, you can either contact Vicki for the address of the Credit Union fund, or PM me for my address and I'll make sure it gets into the right hands. I will be donating all funds collected via PayPal to the Credit Union fund in the upcoming days, and will post here when it's done. I'll also give a final total when I do.     Perhaps if we allow Pat to throw the ball more than 10 yards before the fourth quarter arrives, we could at least compete. Say what you want about Pat, but our Offensive scheme sucks and is easy to figure out. Hall - Ball = No gain. Let the kid chuck it around on Saturday... it's not like we have anything to lose at this point.

    Who knows? The first time was interesting... the second time was boring... the FOURTH time made me want to gouge my eyes out with a ball point pen. Oh, and in my first post, by "whacked" I mean "dismissed from employment." ;D

    Not sure if this has been posted yet, but... Heard from the inside on Saturday while making my rounds of the suites that the Band Director has been whacked like Big ***** on "The Sopranos". Reason given?  None.  But after four straight games of "Bohemian Rhapsody", I think we can all guess why. Plus, that Dave Matthews Band "Ants Marching" rendition on Saturday totally sucked. BW

    This "inaugural Tampa Bay Sports Commission Classic" verbiage implies that it will be an annual game. Are we happy with a guaranteed 1-AA on the schedule every year?

    I spoke with the USF Athletic Administration about this, and any funds donated in this endeavor will be used to offset Bradley's medical expenses. It's not as "cool" as a Game Boy, but it's much more important. Thanks, Matt

    Wow. Thanks for posting twice. I mean, your first post was really informative and positive, but I wasn't quite sure what you meant. It was only when you posted virtually the same thing a second time that the true meaning of your post shone through. Thanks for enlightening us all. :

    Three people were off by one on the margin of victory: Leading scorer(s):  Jones, 18 Swift-Leather-Dennis, 8 Leading rebounder(s):  Leather, 9 Jones, 7 FT PCT:  66.7% Nobody got the leading scorer right. Nobody got the leading rebounder. Bulls96go got the FT closest at 68%. Looks to me like the winner is Bulls96go.
