  1. Julmiste flattened him on his ass not once but twice.  ;D
  2. I had dinner with two of them up in the Press Box (including that hot chick in the pink sweater). I can vouch that they were ECU broadcasters.
  3. This is a nice pickup! Things are looking good on the ladies side.
  4. It's the Marriott Renaissance hotel, located at International Plaza. http://marriott.com/property/propertyPage.mi?marshaCode=TPAIM
  5. Correct! They lost 2-0 to the Mets on 7/14/01 The other match-ups are as follows: Red Sox - Yankees: 4W, last loss 10/17/04 Patriots - Giants: 3W, last loss 12/30/90 Patriots - Jets: 3W, last loss 12/22/02 Patriots - Bills: 2W, last loss 9/7/03 Celtics - Knicks: 2W, last loss 1/30/04 Celtics - Nets: 2W, last loss 1/25/04 Bruins - Rangers: 3W, last loss 12/22/03 Bruins - Islanders: TWTTWT in last 6, last loss 1/3/03 Bruins - Devils: 1W, last loss 4/3/04 Bruins - Sabres: 3W, last loss 1/22/04 enough to give New Yorkers an inferiority complex... ;D
  6. Here's a pretty good Boston/NY sports question: There are 11 Bos - NY (either NY state or NYC metro area) match-ups in the 4 major U.S. sports. Red Sox - Yankees Red Sox - Mets Patriots - Jets Patriots - Giants Patriots - Bills Celtics - Knicks Celtics - Nets Bruins - Rangers Bruins - Islanders Bruins - Devils Bruins - Sabres Of these, the Boston team has a 4-game winning streak in one (guess which  ;D  ), a 3-game winning streak in 4, a 2-game winning streak in 3, a one-game streak in one, a 6-game unbeaten streak in one (they tied the last game but are 2-0-4 in the last six), leaving only one match-up where Boston has a losing streak - one of only one measily game. Of the 11 teams from the four major North American professional sports leagues that represent New York or New Jersey which is the only one that has won its last game vs. Boston?
  7. 131 F is a great area. Seats are high enough so that the sight lines aren't really an issue at Raymond James. Berns - excellent choice Days Inn - not so excellent, although definitely affordable. If you're looking for something a bit more luxurious, the Wyndham Harbour Island is about a 10 minute cab ride away. There's a Holiday Inn Express north of the Stadium as well.
  8. Does GoDaddy.com include a full year of hosting at 5GB per month and unlimited e-mail addresses? Or is it just for the domain. The price I quoted above included a year of hosting service.
  9. I would trade that one big hit for just a small increase in actual tackles made. Our tackling is horrible.
  10. I can get www.andrehallforheisman.com or www.andrehallusf.com registered with hosting for a full year for $45.00. We could even all have name@andrehallusf.com e-mail addresses! =)
  11. "Get Fuzzy" is the only feature in the comics section that I routinely have to stifle audible laughter at. It's some of the best writing on the comics page. The whole Sox/Yanks angle is just bonus. ;D
  12. If you don't read "Get Fuzzy" in the comics, it's about a guy named Rob Wilco living in Boston.  He owns two pets, an overtly annoying cat named "Bucky" and a dumb but lovable pooch named "Satchel". Bucky does things just to annoy Rob, like root for the Yankees.  This week's ongoing story....
  13. VG, he obviously doesn't know what he's talking about.  He didn't know the Yankees didn't win in '97, and he has no clue about baseball's TV ratings. FYI, Denver, Game 7 of the Sox/Yanks was the highest rated television program of the YEAR with the exception of the Superbowl.  Guess America doesn't care, eh?  Guess America hates baseball, eh?  Guess Fox was just lucky to be able to charge $350K for a 30 second spot during the World Series, eh? Check YOUR facts and get back to me.  In the meantime, try not to choke any more.  May I recommend Ricola?  ;D
  14. I just hope Pedro uses the Sox to drive up his price for the Yankees so they can take on ANOTHER bloated contract for an oft-injured, past-his-prime player. ;D
  15. Not to mention that I said MAJOR sports. The NHL is not a major sport when Spongebob Squarepants reruns draw higher ratings than the Stanley Cup Finals. Yankees = biggest chokers in the history of major professional sports in America.
  16. I have a bunch of Fenway Pics from the tour I took of the ballpark on Sunday. Will post when I get a chance.
