    Jamar Newsome is making a start at wide reciever this week. He is 6' 3"" 205, 4.34 Clocked He was in state finals for 100-meters in HS track. He is a TF. Trust me, he will burn you Doesn't matter how fast he is if he can't catch the football...

    Why would our QB need to throw when your "D" got gashed for 300+ yards rushing last year? You had Andre Hall and a better O-line. M-O-R-O-N Funny, Andre accounted for less than half of the 326 yards you clowns gave up. Here's a prediction for you.  Grothe will have more rushing yards than UCF will have as a team.

    FIU fumbled on third down.  They were stopped.  We had timeouts left.  They would have had to punt on fourth.  We might have even scored the final TD one play sooner had they punted.  ;D But since you didn't see the game you don't know any of that...

    Former ESPN college football analyst Trev Alberts will be doing color analysis for CSTV's broadcast of the UCF-South Florida game. Alberts is in his first season as an analyst with CSTV.

    I agree. Do we really go head to head with UCF for many players? You can count on one hand the number of players on our roster from the "Central Florida" area.

    I also think this game should be played annually, but agree with Wooly that we don't need to sign a life term contract just yet. For those who think we have everything to lose by playing UCF I ask you this. How can you expect to win the conference against the likes of Louisville, West Virginia, and Pitt if we can't consistently beat UCF?

    No, Andre Hall pretty much single handidly crushed UCF and our running game is nowhere near where it was last year.  You can make the mistakes against I-AA McNeese and FIU, but the better teams will start capitilizing on those mistakes.  We will not be able to dig ourselves out of the hole time and time again.

    The first return penalty was a personal foul by Jenkins... he dove at the feet of two players - "blocking below the waist" - but it was, as you inferred, completely unnecessary. Agreed, total bonehead play by Jenkins.  He did redeem himself though by throwing the last block to get Randolph into the endzone on the second return.  Then he takes his helmet off on the third PR for TD for another 15 yarder.  : I like Mike, but he seems to make some really stupid plays.

    The sky is not falling, but we won't beat UCF with another performance like the past two weeks.

    I'm not saying it was not MG's fault.  Just saying that the play call didn't help him in that spot. Now how about a pump fake and a go route next time...
