  1. The only reason CWT is held in any regard is because he is our only coach that self selected his exit. Had he been fired in his first three seasons he would be viewed below CSH and had he still been here now he would be facing the exact same issues and backlash as CCS. That he smartly left during his one glory year does not somehow mean that he was an amazingly successful coach or that he would have continued the one year of success beyond last season at best. #cwtexposedparty.
  2. So he would have either completely reworked the offense again or miraculously found a freshman phenom that could start right away and was unlike any of the QBs he was actually recruiting.
  3. But in your opinion ours was perfectly strong except for the interference of the Strong regime?
  4. Not quite as impressive with the top 20 offense at Oregon when you consider the year before they were 27th which got the head coach fired.
  5. I’m sure they would too, maybe they should hire someone for that. That they have abandoned CWT as that person in year one while they sit at 108 in offense doesn’t make it seem likely that CWT and the Gulf Coast offense will be the ones bringing them there.
  6. I guess there is an argument to be made that the line had regressed under current coaching but as the line at FSU was far more highly rated I don’t see how that argument can be applied so inequitably.
  7. Okay if the Gulf Coast was some elaborate plan that CWT was building towards despite his words to the contrary and all of his actions leading up to its implementation, who did he have lined up to replace Flowers in it this season?
  8. Since CWT seems to have stacked our offensive line I’m sure they are pretty exited at FSU about the amazing offensive line replacements they will be bringing in at FSU the next recruiting season.
  9. I don’t think he was a failure I think he was average just as his overall record in football says that he is. I think a lot of factors came together and he had a dynamic offense for 1.5 years of his career that he is now managed to turn into a couple of large paydays. I do not think that he recruited towards running the gulf coast offense since he was pretty vocal about being a power pro kind of guy during the time he brought in Flowers and I do not think he would be having any more success with his offense here now that Flowers is gone and there is now film on his offense. Like CWT so eloquently put about us getting to number 2 it’s one thing to get there it’s another thing to have a plan once you get there, so far CWT retooled offense seems to have been a bit gimmicky and not seeming to be replicated in two stops since.
  10. We are 16th in total offense; FSU is 108th and CWT just had to relinquish control of offensive play calling but please continue.
  11. Some 3 years after its creation I don’t think anyone is fighting for the blame of creating the lethal stupidity offense; there may have been several factors that led to the 1.5 years of offensive success but one thing we know for sure is it’s not holding up to the test of time.
  12. Maybe I should start seeing the Dalai Lama about it.
  13. There is just no way I believe anyone was sad when CSH’s last season concluded at 3-9 or when CWT’s first season ended at 2-10; there is only so much suffering anyone can endure before they need some form of hiatus to regroup and have hope spring eternal at the start of the next season.
  14. Sometimes I’ve welcomed the break with open arms.
  15. That anyone finds solace in this makes baby Jesus cry
  16. 20 year old me would punch current me right in the **** for feeling that way but yep pretty much.
  17. That the highlight of our season would be beating UCF literally makes me want to void myself, back in my day it was an automatic victory.
  18. I guess this is growing up because you have always sounded kind of adult to me and I pretty much feel the same way now.
  19. Well that’s a lot of qualifiers but I know for a fact Pitt and I’m assuming there is a Miami in there and a USC but we both know there is very few FBS teams not playing in an OCS and there is no logical reason to feel a neutral site game is different than an off campus stadium.
  20. He is saying that they are getting game day and we never will because they have an OCS and we do not. There are plenty of reasons they are getting game day and we aren’t and OCS isn’t even in the top 20.
  21. How do you figure? If we had the most high profile game they would more than likely be there, if OCS is a qualifying factor I’m pretty sure it’s at the bottom of the list.
  22. They have had game day in Times Square, in Jacksonville, at the Texas State Fair and countless other places nowhere near a campus; I don’t think that’s what is holding us back.
