  2. Terry: If you are still interested in a Liberty game ticket stub (circa 2000), I finally found one. I would be happy to send it to you. Send me your address via e mail (ddhatch@ilstu.edu). I will keep looking for APSU ticket stubs. Normal
  3. Unforunately I have not been to too many away games. But I have been to games at other stadiums. For Bulls away games, I enjoyed the second game in our existence...The Citadel. I love Charleston and seeing the Citadel cadets parade into the stadium was fun. My least favorite was at Troy. There just ain't much there. Overall... I like Husky Stadium in Seattle. Great place to see a game and great venue. Nice tradition, especially when the Dawgs were winning. The Big House in Ann Arbor is another great venue. Hard to believe you and over a 100,000 other people are packed into one place. Autzen Stadium in Eugene was a great place to watch a game too. I also visited Faurot Field in Columbia, MO (Leavitt's old stomping grounds) for a game. Not too shabby either. Normal
  4. Did Britt phone that statement in from Costa Rica? I guess he is only TOO busy vacationing when the conference shuffle is going on. Normal

  7. Welcome Brandon. Any plans for your group to go to the Rutgers game? I will be at the National Middle School Association conference in Philly that week and I planned to rent a car and drive up to New Brunswick for the game on Saturday. I would love to ride up there on a bus with a bunch of rabid Bulls fans instead. Let me know. Normal

  9. Actually BullGator I think that when Woolard called Mac the total package that included the "straight shooter" part of the package. Mac said he was done with 2005 recruiting after signing Aris Williams and that the staff would concentrate on 2006. I think he meant what he said, ie no Brumbaugh. I think everyone needs to forget about Brumbaugh. Sounds like Mac has. Normal
  10. What kind of herseys bar is best? Geez. I want to know about future football schedules. What's gonna happen with marketing? Does he have plans to do annual reviews of each program? When can we expect to see the athletic village started? How are season ticket sales going for football? basketball? We've heard that the upper deck will be opened for FAMU. Is that true? Gawd....forget the fluff Greg. Get the stories that matter. Normal
  11. Yeah...Boomer is a load. I have been watching him for the last three years since I moved to Normal. Boomer will run through a brick wall and come out the other side asking if he can do it again. Kawicka needs to get his dander up like he did before the OU game. Normal
  12. let's hand the championship to the school that is staying in CDOA and screw the one that is leaving. Another Bano classy, clueless move. I bet TCU is just as glad to climb out of the cess pool as we are. Normal

  19. Greatest upset?? Getting a football team at all. Back in the ancient days when I attended USF as an undergrad, a student organization was founded (the Brahman Football Organization) to try to drum up interest in football. There was none. The school administration was not interested, the athletic department was luke warm at best, alumni indifferent, students apathetic, community support non-existent. It took a monumental effort by Paul Griffin and a core of boosters and the encouragement of President Frank Borkowski to get the ball rolling. Hiring Lee Roy to be in charge of football fund raising was brilliant by PG. Still, football was not a certainty until the Faculty Athletic Committee met and approved the feasibility study and allowed serious fundraising to begin. Considering the anti-athletics beginnings at USF and the apathy that followed, just getting a football team was a HUGE upset at USF. Normal
  20. Only if they don't sign the contracts Cyber! No doubt Bano will be on vacation in Costa Rica if anything important is going to happen. ;D :D Normal
  21. Greenville is two for two. They lose to USF in football and hire a South Carolina retread (Skippy) to coach football. Then USF beats 'em twice in hoops so they fire the hoops coach just to pick up another South Carolina retread. Do they not know that they are located in North Carolina? [smiley=blockhead.gif] Oh well, those retreads should do well in CDOA, the conference that neglects millions of dollars with the lack of a signature. Normal
  22. Living in Baton Rouge will corrupt anyone after a while. ;D Normal
