  1. I would like a USF game tape if anyone would tape it for me. Obviously, I will pay for tape and mailing. It's much cheaper to mail to Illinois than Brazil. ;D Normal
  2. Interesting Schnelly story.... I recently read a biography of Joe Namath. Schnelly was the assistant who was responsible for bringing Joe to Tuscaloosa. The Bear told Schnelly not to come back to Tuscaloosa unless he had Joe with him. The author wrote that Schnelly partied as hard as Joe in Tuscaloosa. I guess the drinking thing goes way back. Normal
  3. BA Social Science Education MEd Administration and Supervision EdD Educational Leadership Normal
  4. I think smazza is talking about how one does the horns. "Don't bring that WEAK ass horns thing in here. If you're gonna do the horns, do it like a champion, or you will be fired!!!!" : Normal
  5. "The Green and Gold Gore" "Gettin' Your Gore on" "It's A Gore Thing, You Wouldn't Understand" "Rocky and Gore for President" "Gore U...S F" "The Great Goresby" "Gore Me, Feel Me" "Great Gore's of Fire" "The Gore" "Score with the Gore" (for sheriff ) "Not Fast Enough in Pamplona" OK, I'm done. ;D 8) : Normal
  6. Good stuff Collin. Thanks for the report. Normal
  7. I think I have answered this query a dozen times on this board over the years, but here goes again..... College: Washington Huskies. Grew up in Seattle; before pro sports there, every kid loved Jim Owens' Dawgs. I don't like pro sports. I DO root for Chucky Atkins, Kawicka Mitchell, Ant Henry, and Ross Gload (hopefully Andre Hall soon). Normal
  8. Norfolk, VA Sheriff. You probably have some homeys there that you could send out to the game. Maybe our bull horns signs will remind the USC gals of Texas in the Rose Bowl. ;D I hope Jose and the gals win that game. Normal
  9. T-man, you will finally be able to backhand Howery when he gets out of hand! ;D I hope your surgery goes well. Take care and keep your laptop handy so you can stay on-line while rehabbing. Normal
  10. Ben Moffitt. Guy just makes plays. Elevated his game as the year progressed. Not a vocal, rah-rah guy, but more like a 'quiet assasin.' Yeah, Ben is The Man. Normal
  11. It's actually worse for them. They can't say, "When is it football season?" after going 1-10 last year. At least we have that to look forward to. Normal
  12. Congratulations Bubbles and Mutt. So in a couple of years when we are at the Sugar Bowl, Mutt, Jr. will be on the Jumbotron being voted on as the most fanatical fan I guess. ;D Makes my day. Another Bull. Another teacher. Normal
  13. the more Bulls the merrier. I can't remember when my offspring were that young. The picture would have to be in the Sombrero, not Ray Jay, that is for sure. Normal
  14. to see them play? Trips like the one you are talking about usually occur in August. All players on the team this year who have eligibility left can play on the tour. That means that Williams, Granberry and Verdejo can play. Howard and Cann can play too if they are healthy enough. Jones and Holmes cannot play since they are seniors with no eligibility remaining. Also, new signees, like Curry who are not presently in school cannot go on the trip. We could really use a tour like this to help integrate Verdejo, Granberry and Williams into the team. It would be especially helpful if Howard and Dennis were completely healthy. I doubt Cann will be ready by August. Normal
  15. Let's just hope he plays more like and has an attitude more like Greg Walls than Johnny Peyton, the former wearers of ol' #8. Normal
  16. My wife and I went to the local Target in Normal last weekend. I was wearing my USF sweatshirt. The kid at the check out counter said, "Hey USF. I am going there this fall." I told him, "Good choice." He said, "I didn't think there was anyone from USF in Normal, IL." I replied, "You just met two alums." We're everywhere!!! Go Bulls! normal
  17. Born: Seattle Elementary: Seattle, Fall City, WA Middle: Snoqualmie, WA High: Mount Si High School Wildcats, Snoqualmie, WA Employed: Currently, IL, Past: WA, FL, GA Normal
  18. forum right in the middle of recruiting season. CFU classics like guru couldn't do better than a post with unsubstantiated information > like this. I hope you guys are proud of yourselves. Yikes. Normal
  19. Velcro....a couple of amendments. Gransberry will be a junior and will not be eligible to play until around December 15th (the end of the semester). Rob THOMAS has backed out of his verbal to us. He is still considering USF, but he is looking at other schools. I would not put him on the roster yet. Franklin Jones has not signed with USF and in fact may not even have a USF offer. IF he gets qualified, look for us to sign him. We have three schollies to give. Maybe Mac can do something with them in April. Thomas, Jones and a point guard (Deonta Vaughn would be nice) would be a good finish. Normal
  20. Vick is a disgrace to college football. First the throwing the ball thing at WVU earlier this year and then stomping on Dumervil's leg when he is down. All this after his drug arrest from a couple years ago. A real model citizen, that guy. Normal
  21. 1. If I were a caveman I would probably be starving .... so, yes. 2. Absolutely....there is no better way to support the Bulls, and have fun doing it. (Side note: My 8 year old daughter finally agreed to wash the USF tattoos off her cheeks last night after wearing them since Saturday. Her reason: Yesterday was show and tell and she got to tell her 3rd grade classmates that she went to the Meineke Car Care Bowl to cheer on the USF Bulls against NC State. Now, she doesn't need the tattoos anymore). Any questions as to why I will be at future Bull bowl games? 3. Does UCF have a football team? 4. This is a trick question, right? Are we talking SEC athletes or college athletes in general? 5. The scale only goes to 5? 5 it is then. Normal
  22. photos in the gallery. In every single picture (and I mean every one) when NC State is on offense their linemen have a fistful of our d-line's jerseys or they have ahold of the shoulder pads. Yet, not one single holding penalty on the Pack. I stopped looking at picture 110, yet I only saw 1 picture where our o-line had a handful of their jersey. Maybe Coach Frey needs to work on jersey grabbing techniques in the spring. : Normal
  23. Did anyone notice our dapper board host with his hand wrapped around a souvenir beer cup? Enjoyed sitting next to you Brad. Normal
  24. Appreciate the Bullbackers seats. It was great to sit with friends. ET, I saw you in our row...wish I had gotten a chance to chat with the Brazilian nut :-). What a great experience. You MUST go to whatever bowl game we get into next year. Normal
